What paint did you use for the hubs I was thinking about doing that too

 

it’s one of my wife’s paint pens…so it’s just something I found around the house. I’ve used it on a couple of other figures, and so far no plastic has been eaten and the paint stays on well. I’m sure there are better options, but this looks great to me.

He’s honestly very impressive (imho). the transformation is really cool and intuitive, and all the trailer knick knacks are pretty great as well. I know many here are seemingly upset about the price (at least to the point of grumbling about it on the internet), but Hot Rod/ Rodimus Prime is/are my favorite character(s) in the franchise, so I was all in from the get go. This probably also shows a bit of bias on my part, ha.
But comparing this to the POTP RP is night and day. This is SO much better. So in that regard, the $30 up charge (from the Leader price point) makes sense in my head.

 

I can confirm if you didn’t get yours already there are still 3 left as of this posting. Don’t forget you can call and have them hold one for you if you arf going to be later in the day.

 

Northshore Target has 2 of the Buzzworthy 4-Pack. Still haven't seen a single Slag locally.

 

He is quite awesome I must say the amount of poseabilty he has is quite good, the transformation is actually a simplistic without being too simple, he sort of transforms like Hot Rod to a degree and just is like a mini masterpiece figure and I’m really quite pleased with him probably one of my favorite figures to date and I’m not just saying that because I’m a Rodimus Prime fan it’s just a really well made figure and honestly for a commander class figure that’s technically a leader class figure your getting great quality for a good figure

Turkey Target has 2 Origin BB, the Walmart and west town target had nothing.

 

The main thing I don't like about Rodimus is how the wheels need to be forced past the shin hinge in transformation, causing plastic to flex around them. I'm 99% sure that the bending plastic is nylon and so literally made to do that safely, but for as much as the rest of the overall process feels smooth and well-considered, it seems like this should have been engineered a little more elegantly.

For the expectation that Jetfire and Sky Lynx developed for Commander class - one really big figure, self contained as a whole unit - I can get why some people are making a fuss about Rodimus. If the battle platform, or display in vehicle mode means nothing to you, you'll never be convinced this lives up to its price point. Understandable, but kind of sad.

 

I went to a bunch of stores in the Murfreesboro and Tullahoma areas the past few days, and nothing. No KSI or Battlemasters at the homa Ross, No Kingdom wave 3 deluxes or Studio series dinos at the various Walmarts I went to, and no Rodimus, Galvatron, Ark, or even buzzworthy at the Murfreesboro Target.

I just ended up ordering Scourge from BBTS.

 

My thing is, I feel like in time his spoiler may break since it’s more of a harder plastic but feel as if it could break I wish it was made of the plastic that Hot Rods spoiler was made from

 

Anybody else having trouble with Rodimus trailer not snapping together properly?

 

Yes at first there is a trick for it, do you have the turret plugged in the trailer, and if you do I you have to flip the panels on the turret upward then it should give you clearance to tab everything in
