had a fun sunday

Wife and I were actually on a MAJOR My Little Pony hunt for her when we went down to Knoxville yesterday (Sun 10/5/03). We hit just about every Wally World, Target, KayBee and TRU we could find. Most places had the usual poorly stocked shelves of early release Armada and some new Universe figs. Found a lot of the Built to Rule sets but is it just me? Or are they just too damned expensive to be really worth buying? I mean, cmon, they're LEGOS for crissakes!

I did find something very cool in that curious sorta way when I went to the Target on Clinton Highway - Armada mini-puzzles. I dont know if they've already been mentioned here but these little buggers are damned cool looking. Basically 50 piece miniature boxart puzzles - I found Cyclonus, Red Alert, Demolishor, and Scavenger. If you are interested in some cool little additions to yer collection, I definitely recommend stopping by there and picking some up if you're in the area :

Wanna see my toys? My collection

Who is General Failure and why is he reading my hard disk?

If when people want to know that time it is and they point to their wrist, why don't they point to their crotch when they want to know where the bathroom is?

Have a great day :ROCK Just my $.02

You got the last one of the Nemmys too! SLAGGGGGGGGG!!!!!

: @%^#$&@^%#$&@!!!!!!! :

Evidently that case of WV 8 didnt have any others in it either

And, of course, the Drones at WalMart gave me the usual "No Idea When We Will Get Another Set In - You'll Just Have To Keep Checking Back" Speech : : :

People can flame me all they want about this but I'm damned sick of people that work in those places not knowing a god forsaken thing about the products that they put up on the shelves : : : :

Ok, I'll cool down now...hopefully, Wally "We know nothing" World will either have something before the end of the week or I'll find it on our trip to Nashville next week.
