Took about four attempts of boiling...cant say whether it made a difference but I'm sure it didn't hurt...Didnt break free easily, and I was afraid I would break it, but i wiggled them in opposite directions a finally torqued down on it pretty hard and broke it loose...figured I could return him if he broke

    THANKS FOR THE TIP!

So, has SS Bonecrusher been seen around TN? That’s the only figure I’m missing

Yep, I've seen several in the knoxville area

I think I've only seen them at targets so far

So apparently fayetteville wal-mart is the only store within 30 miles of my home that is carrying Studio Series Voyagers. Tullahoma, Shelbyville, Manchester, Winchester... nada. And as far as I know, this has been the case since 2018. What makes that even more annoying is that the Wal-marts here all have Studio Series at a slight discount. Voyagers are just under 27 dollars. I'm going to assume this means they aren't selling well - which would explain why almost nobody is carrying the voyagers, let alone leaders.

No, I think the $26-ish price on the Voyagers is basically system-wide. Same with the Deluxes being $18-and-change. But you're not wrong that individual stores seem to have gotten their planograms tailored to only support certain parts of lines. Locally I'm seeing no space allotted for Studio leaders either. Though I kind of want to blame that partly on having only one leader assortment for the first year of the line. It's not hard for me to imagine Walmart didn't want to keep ordering and stocking the same set of $50 toys for months and months, so they just started eliminating it. On the Generations side, Walmart has no Battle Masters. And looking through brickseek, it seems like only a small few stores anywhere in the general area are carrying that price point at all. I saw a couple places last year that had alternately dropped Studio and Generations Voyagers, too.

I took a small detour after work and found WFC Starscream and Soundwave at the Madisonville Walmart in case anyone is still looking. Plenty there.
Has anyone seen Sixgun and Chromia in the Knoxville area. I am off shift tomorrow and can go toy hunting. :)

I've been on a pretty solid patrol in K Town lately and I've only seen the Voyagers from Wave 2.

Since you guys here seen much more experienced with TF collecting/etc., I was curious if anyone knew what the best way/outlet to sell recent figures locally (Knoxville area) might be. I just got into collecting, thanks to the nostalgia of Siege, but I've very quickly realized I don't have the money or space to pursue it like I would like. I'm planning to sell most of what I've gotten so far (keeping a few favorites). I'd prefer to sell locally (rather than ship anything) and as a lot, if possible. Any suggestions? Or am I best to just piece everything out?

If you can find a dealer locally, you might be able to do it all as a lot. The flip side about that is usually dealers (like comic shops or resellers) usually value things about 20-30% less than what your actual value is. I have done that before and it wasn’t worth it for all the trouble of packing it up and letting them put a value on something you have. That’s just my opinion but I find making a list and posting here in the boards and on Facebook groups and selling and/ or trading individual figures gets you a better response and quicker turnaround.
Again, this is all just my thoughts and experience from collecting. If ya got some gems I would suggest to post them first to get some turnaround . Good luck

There is a sales thread on these boards (Junkion Exchange), but it's open to all members, so if you wanted to go local only, I'd think you could list it in this thread and see if anyone was interested

Fair enough. I wasn't sure about posting in this thread, for fear of junking things up, but I'll at least list what I've got. If anyone in the Knoxville area is interested in the following (preferably as a single lot, but I'm open to selling single figures), send me a PM for details.

    Titans Leader Return Overlord
    PotP Legends Battleslash & Roadtrap
    Siege Leader Ultra Magnus
    Siege Voyager Megatron
    Siege Voyager Optimus Prime
    Siege Voyager Starscream
    Siege Deluxe Hound
    Siege Deluxe Sideswipe
    Siege Deluxe Skytread
    Siege Deluxe Chromia
    Siege Deluxe Prowl
    Siege Deluxe Ironhide
    Siege Micromasters Topshot & Flak
    Siege Micromasters Stormcloud & Viper
Botbots Sugar Shocks 5 Pack (Can't recall names, but it's the Nachos, Plunger, Eraser, Soda, Lollipop)

All figures are out of box, but in great condition and still have all accessories and manuals (Battleslash and Roadtrap manuals are missing, along with cards for those 2 and Overlord).

Got extremely lucky and found Scrapmetal among a sea of Dropkick at Turkey Creek Target. Unfortunately, this was the only wave 6 deluxe that they had left.

Well I thought the studio series sightings would be coming in, but this wave seems slow in getting out. I have the voyagers ordered on amazon, but still hoping to find the scrapmetal and shatter at stores

I was thinking about checking out Lenoir City Walmart in the morning. Has anyone out that way?
