Went back to the new Target in mesa today. They still have a few Arcees and Insecticons left, as well as some Demolishers, for those who haven't found them. Other than that, nothing new, except for the two previously mentioned Omegas. With no major toy giving holiday on the horizon for quite a few months, those are going to be warming the shelves for a while because of their pricetag.
I went there Saturday and they had about 4 Arcees and 4 Insecticons left. Nothing else new.. except the Batman action figures.
I was getting so desperate for a TF fix yesterday that I went ahead and bought the Combaticon remake, Ruination, at Walmart yesterday. It's not bad, and I've never had this one before. Before that, I hadn't bought a new TF since I bought Mirage, Arcee, and Insecticon back at the end of May.
how much was it? did you already have him? it's good to see that shockblast has finally hit the valley... weird that it was at fry's though.
Thanks a bunch for the tip on the Shockblast, Hikaru. I had a job interview out at Glendale Community College, so I figured I might as well drop by that Fry's on the way home. And, sure enough, there he was. They also had a Mirage, butluckily I already him. So, if anyone is looking for Mirage, he was there as of 6pm tonight. Personally, I think that the Decepticons are really bringing up the quality of the Energon line, as I've been really happy with Mirage, Shockblast, and Megatron. I can't wait for Sharkticon to come out.
For all Phoenician HLJ is going to be at http://www.ipms-phx.org/2004/index.htm at civic plaza. I emailed them to see what they are bringing. I will post more info here once I find out more info.
OMG, Rick Sternbach is going to be there, the patron saint of all ships Star Trek! I'm guessing HLJ will only have modeling stuff there, as I can't imagine that there would be much of a market for transformers at a modeling convention. But, I'll probably go anyway, as I'm really into model building myself, especially the sci-fi section.
this is what hlj sent me Good afternoon, Our staff at the show are looking forward to meeting as many of our online customers as possible; if you get a chance, drop by the show and say hi! All we can tell you at this point is that we shipped about 50 cases of various plastic kits and other products (i.e. we don't have a list of what was sent -- sorry about that!). Many thanks for your business with HobbyLink Japan! Katrina Somers HLJ Products HobbyLink Japan
Just FWI. The Target at Scottsdale and Frank Loyd Right has about 10 or 15 first paint Unicrons that have been marked down to less the $14 bucks. So if you have not got yours yet now is the time.
Spotted Alternators Hound!!! In Phoenix, the Wal-Mart at Tatum and Bell. I got the only one they had though. Didn't see any Silverstreaks.
I don't plan on getting anymore Alts until Tracks comes out. I just wish he had a flight mode like the original. That's the only reason why I ever bought him when I was a kid.
Oh, I didn't notice that this was a new thing until I saw it posted in the News section. The reissue of Skids is out now at TRU. I saw them at the TRU at Metrocenter this afternoon. $24.95
frantically, i skipped eating and took my lunch hour at the wal-mart in north scottsdale near FLW & the 101 to see if maybe they also got hound/silverstreak... the only thing they had new was one arcee and one insecticon.
