The nice Target employee also brought out two Studio Series 86 Jazz figures that she then placed on the pegs. There are three Studio Series 86 Blurr figures on the peg as well.

 

Stupid question: Is this from Folsum, CA or Folsum & 11th in SF?

 

If anyone in the east bay has an extra scourge for sale, please let me know, that's all I need, thanks!

My wife and I over the past few days have done our best to divide, conquer and search as many Targets and Walmarts as possible from the Carlsbad area all the way down to Chula Vista in search of a Studio Series Blurr.

I’m fortunate she’s willing to do this sort of thing and even more fortunate that she’s willing to accept our end result: which is nothing.

Nada. Zilch. We’ve seen everything else over the past few days, Hot Rod, Scourge, Grimlock, you name it, didn’t buy or want any of it. Just a single deluxe Blurr and after seeing some of the San Diego-based reports around here, it’s even worse because it means we were always just barely missing them. Either a day too early or a day too late.

I hope someone else out there in this area has better luck than we did. Even the collectibles stores ‘round here are dry or haven’t gotten anything yet.

But we’ve given up. Scummy scalpers win it this time. Lining their pockets is the only option we have in order to get one here in a timely manner.

 

I understand the Frustration. I have hit every Walmart in LA looking for the Headmasters and found two things. Jack and Shit.

 

Damn. I would've grabbed the last one last night for you guys if I knew this. I'll get Blurr if I see him in my area. I'm in Rancho Penasquitos and usually check out Poway and 4S. Sometimes Mira Mesa and Escondido.

 

We appreciate that thought, but don’t worry yourself over it. Already ordered one from online. It was unlikely that Murphy Canyon Blurr was gonna last almost 24 hours on the shelf anyways. Would have saved us a lot of trouble if WalMart employees were any help when you try to call them and save us the trip lol. But they never know what a “transformer” or even an item number is when I call, if they ever even pick up.

Target is a little bit better but their numbers have been unreliable. They answer and search item numbers no problem but when I give them the dcpi for SS86 Blurr they’ll tell me stuff like, “Oh, mission valley has 8 and santee has 9”. Now, I realize this dcpi is probably shared with other wave mates but with numbers like that Ill usually take the chance. Only to get there and find out that they actually show 0 in front and back. I get that it usually takes 24 hours for their systems to update but Mission valley has been showing “8 on floor” to other stores with an actual number of 0 in stock since Sunday, which is nuts to me.

Like I said, don’t worry about it, but the thought is appreciated. I’m just hoping my ramblings will save anyone else in the area the trouble of searching or the gas money, haha. Sometimes letting folks know that there’s nothing is as helpful as there being something.

 

I took one and another collector got the other. I am willing to trade it for scourge+20 bucks. Let me know.
