Where ya at in Middletown? I'm in the Navesink/Highlands area?

Our area sucks for new Transformers...I might take a ride into NYC next week to see if the TRU in Times Square has anything.

Hey Im located off of Middletown/Lincroft Rd. towards Lincroft. Yea our area isn't stocking the new stuff. I went down to the Neptune Walmart today, but didnt see anything. Also checked the Walmart in New Brunswick but same there, although I did see plenty of Ruination if anyone is lookin for them still. TRU in Manhattan, might have some of the new stuff but I suspect they wont, as none of TRU's have been getting anything new before Target or Walmart. But good luck if you make the trip!

If you do hit the Times Sq. TRU, I recommend going early on a weekday. Otherwise the crowds more or less guarantee a poor selection.

Lately I've been working in the Red Bank area, and this area is just as bad for new items as NYC. KB in Shrewsbury Plaza is just terrible. The TRU on RT 35 is almost as bad. And the Target up the road isn't any better.

I agree with you completely. The KB in Shrewsbury is such a waste of space. I was there yesterday, only because I was in the area, and they had about five basic figures total. I will probably never go in that store again.

The TRU's in the area aren't so great either. They have a lot of older stuff, but I haven't seen ANY new stuff at either the one in Eatontown or Hazlet. I think I have found more at the Target in Middletown than I have at the TRU's and KB's combined. :annoyed

Well, I was about an hour and a half North of my usual territory tonight. Too bad I was BROKE!!! :cry  :cry  :cry

Kay Bee Toys in the Willowbrook Mall (or the one across the parking lot....forget which it was, not familiar with the area) had TONS of the G1 Spychangers on the pegs!!

    :cry  :cry

I found the Energon Treadbolt at the Target near Freehold Raceway Mall. They had one left as of one hour ago...it is now 6:18 pm. There were also a couple of the Energon Landmine's at the TRU near the mall as well.

In the mall itself there is a comic book store called Zapp Comics. They had some old G1 stuff in American and Japanese packaging. They also had several WST's. One of them being Optimus Prime.

That's all I have for today.

    Peace out!

Hehe...that's my TRU. Jackson resident here (former Manalapan resident). Usually that TRU SUCKS for getting anything in.

As for Zapp, most of their TF stuff is either A) Highly Overpriced. or B) Highly underpriced. I picked up a mint, complete G1 Omega Supreme there 7-8 months ago for $30.

Omega Supreme, mint condition at Zapp for 30 bucks, damn I must have missed that or I would have grabbed him. Thats a good pick up. Your right though its hit or miss with that place and most of the stuff is way over price.

I was at the Feehold Raceway mall yesterday because they were having (and still having) a comic book and toy show. On both fronts, the show sucked. It used to be pretty good a couple of years ago, but now most of the show is comprised of sports collectables.

Zapp does have a lot of old G1 comic books though. The first issues are well priced, but the final issues are way overpriced. I was excited to see those issues until I saw the price tag on them.

I stopped hitting the Raceway Mall shows a few years ago. They highly suck now.

Found Arcee & Insecticon at the Target on Route 35 in Middletown. Bought Arcee, left the bug. They also had the GI Joe Defense Mech & Pulverizer in case any of you collect Joe's.

I found Arcee and Offshoot at the Target on 70 in Brick. They had quite a few of them, as well as Energon Strongarm and Insecticon. Also available were Rodimus, Snow Cat, Demolisher and Prowl if you haven't found them already.

The K-Mart in Howell on Rt 9 South had Alternator Silverstreak but only one which I picked up and their selection of everything else was pretty dismal so they might restock but not likely.

The K-Mart in Wall on Rt 35 South had some Landmine figures but not much else.

    GODDAMMIT!
    :banghead:

I try to hit there once a week, and 99.9% of the time, nothing. The first Silverstreak in the area, and I didn't get it. :cry

Sorry about that, man. I feel bad since I only stopped in because I was heading down the Michael's to get some poster frames, which in turn led to me looking for toys since I was out.

If it's any consolation, when I found the lone Smokescreen and Sideswipe when they were released, they hit saturation the next week. I'm expecting now that I've hunted for the one and found it after driving all over, Silverstreak will be everywhere I look and you should find one in no time. :)

    Happy hunting!

Not a toy, but Waldenbooks in Monmouth Mall had several boxes of Generation One and Armada stickers. It seems like it's the Dreamwave art and box art that were in the sticker book but contains 175+ stickers. It retailed for 5.99 and was in the bargain bin.

I haven't opened it to confirm whether it's 175+ different stickers or several rolls of the same stickers but it's a nice deal for someone who wants to get a sibling or younger relative into the hobby or decorate your office at work. :)

Since they get their stuff from corporate for that table, other Waldenbooks/Borders stores in the area should have similar products. They might even show up in B&N stores since I've seen the same stock of other books in both stores.

I just snuck out of work for a few minutes to check out the new Target at the Rockaway Mall. It was supposed to open on the 25th, but there was a "Now Open" sign out today. It looked like they hadn't sold a single Transformer yet! They have a couple of Omega Supremes, Arcees, Demolishers, Cruellocks, and a nice assortment of Energon Basics and Deluxes. They had 4 Alternators - 2 Smokescreen and 2 Side Swipe. I have a feeling it will be a long time before I ever find a Silverstreak or Hound up in Morris County :( .

I went to get lunch in Watchung (quizno's)and stopped at TRU. It was shelfwarmer heaven. They had the new Xevoz and Samurai Jack figures though. Dropped in to Kohl's there though and walked out with Downshift and Towline! :ROCK
Hey Mookie, pick me up a E Omega and I'll pay you back and I'll pick you up a Silverstreak if you pay me back. I'm half hour south of you on 287 (Somerville)
