I saw those. I almost bought a box then thought the better of it. I checked the TRU next to it today, nada.

 

Just got back from the Ledgewood Mall area.

Wal-Mart has a nice selection of Energon figures, but none of the figures from the latest wave (Downshift, Omega Supreme, etc.), including Megatron and Unicron (Armada and Energon boxes). Still no Hound or Silverstreak, and theres about 6 total Smokescreens and Side Swipes warming the shelves.

KB has the wave 1 Energon figures and 1 Prowl. They have 1 complete Universe Protectobots set left, and few loose Protectobots (I picked up a set for myself), as well as a bunch of G1 Spychangers and Armada Mini-Con sets. They have Smokescreen and Sideswipe, 6 total again, but no Hound or Silverstreak.

I wanted to check out Kohls because I had read some posts about people finding some ultra-new Energon figures there. Lo and behold they did have an extremely small toys section. The only Transformers related items they had were 100 piece Armada puzzles (1 Megatron, 1 Optimus). I wouldn't be surprised if these areas are rarely stocked, and perhaps a case or two of Transformers are heading out to all of their stores. I'll definitely check back there later ... I doubt much of anyone looks for toys there.

 

The Kohl's in Middletown didn't have anything either...bummer...

 

Add the Kohl's in Holmdel to the list too. I dont even think they carry toys.

 

Kohls in Morris Plains has 1 Energon Signal Flare and 1 100 piece Megatron puzzle.

K-Mart in Randolph has 1 Energon Mirage and a bunch of nothing.

KB in Morris Plains has a lot of Universe Protectobots and not much else.

Target in East Hanover and TRU in Livingston have a bunch of Energon and Alternators, but nothing especially new.

In the last week, I have been to 3 KB, 2 Wal-Marts, 2 Targets, 2 TRU, 2 Kohls, and 1 K-Mart ... and 0 Hound and 0 Silverstreak ... so damn frustrating.

 

Just hit up Wal-Mart at the International Trade Zone on Route 206. Found a Silverstreak (US style steering on the left)! Someone beat me to the Hound in the case ... there is still another Silverstreak on the shelf along with a Side Swipe. Last weekend they had 0 Alternators. Hopefully they'll see how fast this case has been selling and order another for next weekend!

Their shelves were packed with Energon toys, but none from the latest wave (Tow Line, Downshift, Omega, Mirage, etc.).

 

Omega Supreme found at Target in Jersey City right outside the holland tunnel. Store just opened this past sunday. 2 left. No new alternators found.

 

The new Target that opened behind my house has Omega Supreme, E.Demolishor, E.Megatron, Role Play Weapons, Insecticon and Arcee.

 

Toy Kingdom in Flemington had two of each roleplay weapons. Kinda hard to decide which to get when you are trying to keep track of a 4 yr old and a 2 year old. Found E_Omega at Target in Edison. There's one left.

 

K-Mart in Westwood, NJ still has four Silverstreaks, and a Mirage the last time I checked.

K-Mart in Randolph has a couple of Crystal Widow vs. Oil Slick sets, a couple of Energon Mirages, and one Energon Cliffjumper. No new Alternators, though, with 3 Smokescreens and 3 Side Swipes warming the shelf.

 

Mookie, I NEED that cliffjumper! If you can get it for me I'll pay you back for it!

 

Did a bunch of running around yesterday. Clarkstown Target has OS and Roleplay out. My local comic shop got alot of superlink and stuff in. K-T figs, History figs, Ariel, chromehorn, shockfleet, and one Wingsaber for 27.99! And it's now mine! Love him. Combines with prime REAL nicely :ROCK

 

TRU in Eatontown has Re-issue Skids now and all of the re-issues are marked down to $24.95 as a price cut. Not as good as ordering online but it will save you a few bucks if you didn't want to pay shipping. Too bad their Energon section looks like a whirlwind hit it with completely empy sections. Maybe they're repegging or just behind on stocking.

 

Don't waste any time going to the Target in Holmdel. There wasn't much there. It doesn't even look like they are trying to make space for new stuff. They suck!

 

Yea man I live not to far from Target in Holmdel, Ive been there twice in the past week, they havent had anything new in a while. Also went to the Target in Manalapan on Rt.9 today with the exception of Omega Supreme there's nothing new to report from there either. Where the hell are the new Alternators already, this sucks.

 

 

I was in that Target yesterday as well. Hehe. Didn't get to buy Omega, not enough cash. Though I did pick up the GI Joe comics pack figures. And the new GI Joe jet....mmm...love.

 

Checked out the stores at the Rockaway Mall with some extra time left on my lunch today.

Target is now out of Energon Omega Supreme, and they just put out a new case of Alternators ... but it's another Side Swipe / Smokescreen case!

Same deal with the Alternators at TRU, they just put out another old case of Alternators to warm the shelves while all the nice Hounds and Silverstreaks go to other stores!

KB is as useless as ever. Still no Alternators at all in the store. They have a decent number of Micromaster Defensor components though, I'm sure there's at least 2 or 3 complete sets there. They still have some G1 Spychangers, too. On a bright note, I guess, they finally got their first case of non-wave 1 Energon Deluxes ... which are stacked on the shelf because the pegs are still loaded with Mini-Cons!

 

New Jersey was very good to me, I found Alternators Hound x2 and a ton of Silverstreaks. Thank you Wal-Mart in Piscataway and Boscov's in Monmouth Mall!!! ;D
