Yeah at first I just thought he was popular but there is no way that a dozen sound waves are being purchased by collectors within a day. There's some serious scalping a foot.

I found the lone last sound wave at the Parker Walmart and the only reason it was still there is because the box look like it had been thrown from the truck and was really mangled, figure was perfect

If you look at eBay there's a massive amount being scalped. I hope Walmart gets a big inventory dump and all those people lose their lunch and have to sell for MSRP and then lose money on fees and shipping.

On another note I can't find air razor anywhere

 

It's pretty simple, though, he's a high demand figure that's also a store exclusive. I bought 3 myself when I found them from a pallet - one for me, one for my young son (Soundwave is his favorite character, he went nuts when he found out they were making a cassette player version), and one for Cristoph from this board. That's 3 collectors right there, and an entire store's stock. No scalping.

I'm just saying it's fully possible. We saw the same thing with Warpath and then Cyclonus when they were new, they'd be the first gone from their waves and the rest would warm shelves. And those weren't even store exclusives...

 

I see your point but do a quick eBay search and you'll see just how many of these are being scalped.

Also, I visit a couple Walmarts that seem to get massive amounts of stock. When I was searching for him I would hit a couple of those everyday and between a visit in the afternoon one day and the morning the next there were 12 Optimus primes on the shelf without a single sound wave to be found. Don't think that could be collectors by itself.

Nope, I can confirm that each case has just 2 figures: one Optimus, and one Soundwave.

 

Target at 144th & I-25 had 1 Grimlock, 1 Primal, 1 Blurr.

found netflix quint ironhide at the walmart off hampden before it turns into havana. there was just the one and empty pegs. gonna be honest, i plan on getting 2 others for sg ironhide and a custom rid2000 ironhide

Flatirons walmart got three shipments of Netflix wave 3 deluxes. Someone must really like the sparkless bot and deseeus drones because they bought all 12 of them and left behind deepcover and cheetor.

If you are looking for huffer or air razor the comic shop off Sheridan and US 36 has them for $25. I purchased huffer there.

I still haven’t found kingdom wave 3 In The wild or studio series but they are popping up in other states.

2 ss starscreams (the blitzwing repaint) at county line target

 

The Centerplace Target had a Hot Rod, Primal, two Bumblebee movie Cybertronian Starscreams, and a bunch of Kingdom, Buzzworthy, and Cyberverse guys.

 

Walmart on 23rd in greeley has 3 netfilx primes a 1 soundwave left

 

2 each of red arcee and cheetor at arapahoe/havana walmart

 

Saw several SS Starscreams and the new core class figures at the Colorado Mills and Kipling Target

 

Checked out the Centerplace Greeley Target and the Greeley Wal-Mart on 10th and 47th. Both had Wave 2 Core class. The Wal-Mart had two Infernos, a Kingdom Megatron, three Netflix Primes, and two of each of the next Deluxe wave of Kingdom. I took one of the triceratops guys.

Also saw some guys there that I think took a SS Bumblebee Starscream and a SS86 Hot Rod. "Hi" if you're on the boards. 

Edit: Forgot to mention the four Dinobots at Wal-Mart.
