Colorado Mills Target had new Deluxes. I picked up Red Alert and SS Dropkick car. No Reflectors, but one each of the former were left. They also had the jet multipack thingy.

 

$19.87 for the cassette 2 packs, the one WFC Shockwave was still regular price, the WFC deluxes and voyagers were the normal $20/30 apiece.

They really didn't have much stock there, but Jetfire was the only one I wanted anyways. Once I see the leader Astrotrain come out, that's the next one on my must acquire tell my wife about it later list.

Jetfire is worth every penny, to me, because of my childhood love of him (Nearly bought that $200+ 3rd party a couple years ago), but the WFC line and most other transformers out now are really, really overpriced. $50 for that G1 Optimus Prime CAB? Maybe if it had come with the trailer - maybe - for that price.

If the 3 pack of seekers now out at Target was the original Starscream, Skywarp & Thundercracker I'd consider it, but the bright-assed recolors have never really done it for me.

 

Ok, gotta remember that one. I worked for Target years ago when they tore the original target down (T-6, was only the 6th one ever), replaced it with a SuperTarget ST-1806, then now they have this Target/Ikea/Whole Foods/corner liquor store combo thing going.

That store when I worked for Target, if it wasn't the busiest one in the world day in day out, it was in the top 3.

 

Soundwave has landed in the Denver area! Picked him up this morning at the Brighton Walmart on 128th Street.

As of now there are 4 left on the shelf.

 

greeley walmart on 23rd has restocked the 2 pack g1 cassettes

 

Just called this store and they don't have anymore. I wished I would have known this store had them.

 

I found the new deluxe wave with all the new figures at 4th/Wads WM, left one Reflector. One Red Alert and the G1 tapes were at Colfax WM, and I grabbed the last Jetfire at 44th WM, even though the box was crushed. I opened it up and it looks fine.

 

I was there yesterday and SW was not there. Must have put them out this morning .

 

Walmart at 470 and Bowles has Refraktor, Red Alert, Brunt, Hound and Chromia. At least two of each. Several Starscream. Some SS like Barricade, Sideswipe and WWII Bumblebee.

 

Found G1 Soundwave at Walmart in Longmont, off Hwy 66, tonight. There are 3 left after the 1 that I bought.

With that said, my Soundwave search is officially over. Thank God!! Best of luck for those who are still looking.

Just a heads up if you are willing to do the short drive, Loveland Walmart on Eisenhower is supposed to be putting their Soundwaves out tonight around 9pm'ish from talking to an employee yesterday. Just letting you know. Good luck!!

Edit: Just checked Brickseek.com for you, 23rd St Walmart in Greeley is showing 6 Soundwaves in their store as of 2:30pm. Better hurry!!

i drive by there on my way home everynight and have been checking it out. thank for the heads up, was going to just pass by tonight. now i have reason to check them out again. lol
