Since about the beginning of Febuary, I've pretty much completely dropped off the the map for transformers. I've looked though quite few of the old news stories, but I have some questions still. Hopefully someone can answer them.

How long is Energon planned to run?
What exclusive/short packed toys have come out?
WHat is going to be relaesed in the next month or so.

I went to the last Kay-Bee toys that is left in Colorado (at least as far as I know, it's the last one), the Toy Liquidators at the Factory Outlet mall in Castle Rock had the Universe Protectobots. They had one complete set, plus another set minus Hot Spot.  :

They also had the exclusive spychanger Silverstreak. I combed the racks and Hot Wheels pegs (where I found him), and din't see any of the others. It's a good bet that with the closing of so many of the other stores that some more may find their way to that store!  :

Yeah, I guess I could've wrote that I did buy the complete set of the Protectobots and also snagged the Silverstreak, huh?

BTW, I just saw this Transformers Toy List at the Allspark. If you can believe how behind the times I am, this should prove it. It was first posted there on February 20th! At any rate, it's very useful.

I just can't believe how sparse the assortments seem to be, though. Anyone else thinking that we're not getting enough? I've got a whole table full of Energon toys that seem to prove otherwise, though!

I'm starting to think Hasbro doesn't love us any more...  

 

Well, I don't know if this is news-worthy or not, but just in case anyone is looking for faceplate-Prime...

The Super K-mart at Colfax and Chambers had E-Megatron! I was kind of shocked to see him there, but I also noticed that there was an Optimus sitting behind him. Well, I took a look at the bottom of the box, and sure enough, there's an imprinted number "40921" right next to the Hasbro address! According to the Hasbro Q & A section, that number means that the Prime inside the box is indeed a faceplate version! :ROCK

And yes, I bought it and I've opened up the box. But since I was wanting both versions, I'm extremely happy now!  :

 

I spotted Alternator's Silverstreak at the Super Kmart on 104th ave (east of Washington). They have one left, and it is the one with the steering wheel on the "correct" side (at least it's correct for the U.S.). I had gotten mine last week, so he's still sitting there.  

Where the hell is everything?  

 

Transformers Needed

I haven't seen any new posts for some time so I thought I would put a shout out to anyone that may have found any of the new stuff. I am still looking for omega, cliffjumper, shockblast, etc.... I have been to many of the targets, K-Marts, Walmarts and anything in between in the Thornton, Wesminster, Arvada, Aurora, Commerce City areas and still have found nothing new. I did find 1 silverstreak alt. at the K-mart off 104th though. It may still be there. If anyone has seen the universe Defensor any where I would appreciate that to. It has been about 3-4 months since I have seen any new transformers Energon or Universe. If any one knows what the hold up is let me know.

Same here, I haven't seen ANYTHING new for the last 3 months. The last Transformer I bought was back in late March (it was Arcee). All I see are Ironhides and nothing else. I have been waiting for sales on the Universe figures but haven't seen anything sales wise. Usually Aug seems to introduce new stuff so keep your fingers crossed. I am going on vacation next week to MO and OK so I'll check out stores along the way. Maybe I'll get lucky and still find a KB Toys open!

 

Last time I was at the Toy Liqidator's store (the Factory Shops in Castle Rock), they had two sets left. I was there last Saturday, there's a chance that they're still there.

 

I found Alternator Autobot Hound at the Super Kmart on Colfax and Chambers. They had two, I snagged one!  

They also had one Silverstreak left. All of the Alternators are in the Hot Wheels aisle, bottom shelf (Hound is hiding in the back behind Sideswipe and Sliverstreak!)  :

 

Thanks for the info zaku2ms06. I don't know if I will get a chance to check it out this weekend but I will do my best. I am planning on doing some looking this weekend so keeps your fingers crossed for good news.
