Winchester TRU has the new $20 Universe toys - I picked up the griffon, what's-his-name. Also the sabres.

I had to really press the guy to verify they had it though.
ME: "Hi, I'm looking for a $30 Transformers Armada figure called TidalWave."
HIM: "Let's see... Nope - we just have Thundercracker and Red Alert..."
ME: "Those are $20 figures. I'm talking about the slightly larger $30 figures - you probably have some Galvatrons for example"
HIM: "Nooo... Let's seeeee... $30 figures we have Galvatron, Jetfire aaand TidalWave."
ME: :rolleyes "Riiight. TidalWave. Can you hold one of those for me?"
Anyway, they had another still on the shelf when I picked it up on Saturday. | |

Woodbridge WalMart had several of each the new minicons, a couple PowerLinx Primes, and about two each of Wheeljack, Hoist, Airrazor, Rhinox, and Terrorsaur.
Off topic: Do any of you Northern VA people have a membership to Sam's Club? When it comes time to get those Universe RID Prime & Magnus exclusives, I don't want to have to resort to eBay scalpers.... if so, PM me? | |
