Hunting Hills Wal-Mart (Roanoke): They DID have 2 20th Primes - but one for me, and one for Fire Convoy means NO MORE on the shelf. Good for me. Good for Fire Convoy. Bummer for YOU.
Does anywhere in the Northern VA area have Alternator Sideswipe or MP Prime? I've only ever seen 2 Alternator Smokescreens, one of which I bought.
Winchester, VA Target: They have an Alternators Sideswipe on the shelf. No sign of wave2 Energon anywhere yet.
As of today: Bailey's Crossroads TRU had 3 Armada Unicrons in Energon packaging lol. Also some Alternator Smokescreens. One Tankor/Obsidian at 7 Corners Target, 5 Depthcharges. 2 Alternator Smokescreens. Still no sign of Alternator Sideswipe or 20th Primes
G1 Spychangers Fair Oaks KB (as of noon) has three complete sets of G1 spychangers, at $3 each (after the 25% off 'sale').
I just got off the phone with KB in Fair Oaks. They said a guy came in and bought all of the sets they had ... * sigh * (it wasn't me)
Quickie info, nothing new. HH Walmart - 6 alternators (1 Swiper, 5 Smokeys) Couple Unicrons in boxes that look like they were thrown out of an airplane at 30,000 feet, and then gently landed in a rock quarry. No new Energon - same old, same old, though alot of Scorponoks and Primes on hand. Roanoke's Ghetto Fabulous KB - everything is 20% off, which is great. Problem arises in finding something you want to buy in the first place. Some armada supercons, exclusives, armada maxcons - largely a big crap festival. No G1 spychangers for anyone who might be looking. Craptastic sightings all around!! (to be fair, though, all we haven't gotten here are the wave 2 items, though! So suck on that!)
Energon - Wave2 Deluxes found! Winchester, VA: Walmart: Energon wave2 Deluxes!! Seems like there were more Prowls and Rodimuses (Rodimi?) and less Snowcats. There was definitely at least one other Prowl/Rodimus set by the time I was done. Had to dig for Snowcat. No other wave2 items - no Landmine, no Basics. Energon wave1 is sold down quite a bit, but there was one Starscream - the first one I've seen outside of when I found a pair of them at TRU a month ago; I guess he's rare... Target: Nothing new, plenty of wave1 figues - all types except for Starscream, as usual. They did have an Alternators Sideswipe, but it sold a few days ago. Plenty of Smokescreen (like 6 or so) K-Mart: Very little wave1 fare.
20th Prime and Alt Sideswipe at Roanoke Target (1 of each on the shelves) ....impulse buy on a pack of Armada cards. Why? Don't have a clue. Nice looking, but a huge ripoff, as I suspected. Though 2 of the 5 cards were inserts (flapper and comic art) - so whoopdedoo!!! But if you're looking for any of those above items - Target's got em.
2/10/04 Fair Lakes Wal*Mart has received new stock: TFU Skywarp and Triceradon, 1 set left Energon wave 2 deluxes, a few of each except there was only 1 Snow Cat left Energon wave 1 deluxes VERSION 2 with the Fleer cards ... TONS of them Also, if anyone cares, Fair Lakes TRU has wave 5 of the Marvel Legends figures. No chases, but they have Colossus, Silver Surfer, Nick Fury, Reed Richards and Sabertooth. I picked up Colossus to go with my Wolverive ... totally sweet. p's Xy

Roanoke Target: Nothing new. Nothing exciting. Packed out wave 1 peg deluxes and basics. Alt Smokey and Sideswipe. Valley View W-Mart: Finally restocking the toy aisle. Thought hell was going to freeze over first. Got the craptastic universe spychangers in - $5.94 or something per pack. Ouch. Thought they were going to be around $4 for some reason. Not much bang for the ol' buck. Alt smokey and sideswipe. *Hopefully* in the next day or so, they'll have deluxes restocked with some wave 2 goodies. Pegs are damn near bare (and some are!) Roanoke TRU: Why do I waste my time? Jesus... If you need full priced and overpriced Armada items - Unicron, Prime, Jetfire, Tidal Wave, etc - this is your heaven on earth. Usual, run of the mill Energon - though they did have a Treadbolt, which has long since disappeared everywhere else.
