Winchester, VA Target (Yes, Target!) Found E-TidalWave and Scorponok. (yay!) There is one Scorp left after my purchase of the other Scorp. They reset their toy section, so the Transformers were moved back an aisle. They also have Alternators Smokescreen on the shelf - 4 of them. Plus plenty Ironhides, Jetfires, Hotshots, and basics. And Universe - you get the idea: they restocked, just in time for a week after Christmas. Good timing, dummies.
Martinsville, VA Wal-Mart has Universe DEPTHCHARGE & the TANKOR / OBSIDIAN 2-pack (one of each on shelf). Also has Energon STARSCREAM (saw only 1), and UNICRON (2 or 3 mixed in with Armada version).
Falls Church, VA Target Quite a bit of Energon Tidalwaves, 2 Energon Ultra Magnuses, 1 Energon Scorponok, and 3 Alternator Smokescreens. No more Scorponoks since I took the last one, also took 1 Magnus and 1 Smokescreen, so 1 Magnus left and 2 Smokescreens left. Energon Magnus and Scorponok also were priced at $21.99 when I was at checkout which was a nice surprise.
Roanoke Roundup: Valley View KB: Jhiaxus/Megabolt pegged in back of store, along with some armada. Haven't seen them in awhile, so maybe they found some more. One peg of Energon. No spychangers, dammit! Oh, and a $30 Overload with 25% off. Yeah, scoop it up while its hot! Roanoke Target: Nothing new - Depth Charge and Tankor/Obsidian placed in front of Alternators tag, so I moved them to hopefully get them to order the damn things!!! Crossroads K-Mart: 4 Alternator Smokescreens... $21.99. Had good bit of Armada left - no clearance as of yet. And had the Armadacron in Energon box. Also, one Prime/Jetfire combo left. Didn't check TRU - wonder when they and K-Mart will start some Armada clearance.
L'burg Target *finally* decided to order some Energon now that Christmas is over. Found Tidal Wave and Scorponok. They also got some TF:A Smokescreen and TF:U Depthcharge. Now if I could only find TF:E Ultra Magnus. If anyone else would be willing to pick one up and ship it to me, please send me a PM. I can reciprocate if needed...the only TF:E I haven't seen locally is UM and Unicron.
Roanoke Shiznit for today: Valley View W-Mart: 2 Scorponoks, otherwise lame ass selection. Spread throughout toy aisle. Only place in the valley with Landfills left (still full price far as I can tell). Reset is very soon - neighboring toy aisles already have planograms up and posted. Roanoke Target: nothing new. No Alternators. 3 Depth Charge, 1 Tankor, energon pegged goodies, Jetifre, Ironhide, Tidal Wave, and E Prime. Decided to snag an E Tidal Wave. Gotta love the Target sale - though no signage on the shelves. Salem Wal-Mart: Only Armada Unicrons left in the valley - probably 6 or 8 of them, down to $30. Some packaged with minicon team. Armada supercons down to $7 (Hoist, Sideswipe, 2 beasts). Low stock on minicon bonus pack clearance ($7). Salem K-Mart: 4 Alt. Smokeys - not located in TF aisle - in die cast car section. Had 3 Prime/Jetfire combos, and good bit of armada left (supercons and bonus packs). Also, Armada-cron in Ener-cron box. ....and I saw an Energon-cron somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't remember where!!!!
Gold Prime? How much were those Gold Prime / Jetfire combo packs? I may be interested in getting one - I'm in Herndon (NoVA), and have never seen one... not even on Black Friday...
Quickie rundown: Valley View KB - still a sad situation, but the Jhiaxus/Megabolt were still there, and apparently they found some stock in the backroom, as the CLEAR spychangers are out again. Way to go, fellas. Roanoke TRU - if you need an Armada Superbase Prime, go here. They have about 20 or so to spare at the least. Not to mention Unicrons (armada). Had energon, too - prime, jetfire, basics, deluxes (rapid run too), ironhide, etc. Did I mention they had Armada Primes? Good lord, no store should have that many. Also saw a few inventory tags scattered about, so either they just HAD it, or they're somehow leftover from 2 cycles ago. If they just had it (which I'm assuming, as most of the skyshelving was BARE!!!), then they'll probably start bringing in some new stuff!!!
Valley View Walmart: ONE Alternator Sideswipe in ALL of Roanoke - and he's MINE. Other 3 walmarts all had alt. smokescreen (4 of him at each location) And to quiet the BT haters, there is a huge difference between BT and alternators!!! BT rocks the house!
I found alt Sideswipe at Wal-Mart in Fairfax there was one left. By the way Roanoke Convoy I am not familiar with Binaltech what are the differences?
Glad to hear Sideswipe is rolling his way into the region - The BT versions are not only a little heavier, but the metal on them really makes the bots stand out alot more - really makes them shine more than the plastic Alternator versions. Sharper, better looking colors. Just more of a preference - and the presentation is better overall as far as the packaging and inserts.
Hey thanks for letting me know, I think they use the BT ones for the pictures on the back of the box.
