Allternators Smokescreen at the New Britain Wally-World. 2 left as of 7pm, shelved with the regular TFs (of which there were very few). They also had the new Spiderman 2 toys, including a bunch of 18 inch and 6 inch super-crazy-poseables, a few X-Men Legends (Archangel, looks great), one ML5 Sabertooth, the new masked Spawn toys from the "famous covers" line, and the new bizarrely carded LOTR ficures (no Witchking) for those who care about such things. Be careful, though. You're liable to be shot in the parking lot. Phew. That's one comprehensive sighting.

West Hartford TRU - a few Alternator Smokescreens, four or so. Energon Starscreams and Energon Optimus Primes in stock. New Britain Target - Had some Energon Scorponoks.
Wal-Mart in Danbury has basically all of Energon Wave 1.5. I didn't see the Armada repaints, but it looked like everything else was there. (somewhere between 1 and 3 of each) I didn't see Alternators, but the shelf space diagram showed where it should be. (must have been sold out) Universe seemed to be updated through Wave 3 (Inferno, Ratchet, Depthcharge)
New Britsky Wal*Mart had one Sideswipe left (I bought him), a number of Smokescreens, Energon 1.5, Marvel Legends 5 (all of 'em, from what I noticed), and the new Spiderman Classics assortment (with Ben Reilly Spidey, etc.). I swear, that place is generally a haul-o-rama. Sure, you take your life into your own hands in the parking lot, but they're ALWAYS well-stocked, and seem to get new stuff quicker than some of the bigger, less ostensibly dangerous locations.

Target: Newington Universe Skywarp and Universe Dinobot Triceradon One of each left after I got mine.. on non TF notes... all 4 figs of wave 2 of the animated Clone Wars figs are also in Newington. I grabbed a set for myself and two extra Durge's for some friends of mine. Tar-Jay New Britain - A goodly number of Universe Skywarp and Triceradon, and roughly 3 metric shitloads of Sideswipe. More new LOTR figures, including Treebeard, Helm's Deep and Rohan Armor Legolases (is that even English?). New Britsky Walmart - Not much in the way of new TFs, but they did have a bunch of new Star Wars 12" figures, including Yoda (he's not really 12", but the toy does kick mucho ass, and comes with a ton of accessories). One Spawn Robots boxset left, with a few of the Classic Covers figures. Absolutely Nowhere - 20th Anniversary Prime. Anyone hear how far East he's made it yet?
So, I saw Energon Landmine today at the New Britain WalMart. I had no idea he was even supposed to be out yet. Odd. The toy is friggin' huge, and looks great. I left him on the shelf, though, since I'm saving my cash for MP Prime. He might still be there if anyone wants him.
Universe Skywarp at the New Britian target, 2/5/04. Autobot Triceridon was with him. Landmine was found at the North Windham (Thanks to Powered Convoy of Allspark for the tip). Landmine rocks. Hard.
Has anyone found a Energon Prime with the full facemask in Connecticut? I really would love to find one, but it seems everytime I find a E. Prime, the box is covered in dust, probably meaning its been there a while, and is the old version with the mouth. We need a thread for E. Prime full mouthplate sightings !! chuckcjc

Go hunting, kids. Newington Tar-Jay had 2 grey gun MP Prime's as of Friday, and I found 2 black gun Prime's at Wally World Bristol (Rt 6). At least one left on the top shelf above the rest of the TFs, pushed back slightly as of 5pm Sunday (My girlfriend bought me the other for my May birthday, so I can't play with him for 2 1/2 months. At least I don't have to worry about himm being sold out).
I went to the Bristol Walmart today during my lunch break. No more Primes, but they did have one Landmine left. Its still there if anyone is looking for him. chuckcjc
