Target on Brickseek hasn't worked in a long, long time. The last time I remember it working was Power of the Primes Wave 1.

 

The WestFarms Target has the Earthrise wave 1 deluxes. I snagged the Wheeljack, but Hoist, Ironworks, and Partsjumper are still there.

 

Popfindr.com works as a good alternative to brickseek. The Voyager quantities are out of whack on popfindr, but they did update when new stock arrived. For some reason it's showing around 30 for Waterbury and Torrington, and over 100 for Meridian!

(Aesthetically Grapple is incredible but he low key sucks. One of the head pins already broke on mine because it was too tight, but then another pin doesn’t even hold well in vehicle mode because it’s too lose. Still get him though because he looks incredible has some neat accessories and lovely poseability, also I guess you could shave the head pins but it shouldn’t be so tight in the first place, anyway rant over.)

I got an Earthrise Optimus pulled from Waterbury Target's backroom this afternoon. DPCI 087-16-3984.

 

I haven't been to either store today, but I think the chance of Torrington and Southington having Earthrise Leaders is very high. Torrington had a lot of Siege Leaders on the shelf yesterday, so you'll probably have to ask for them.

And now the requisite kvetching... So friggin’ SMALL. He’s almost exactly the same size as the SS38 Voyager Prime, and the trailer in no way, shape, or form rationalizes the extra dollars. Prime himself is very nice (the only major annoyance are the thigh canisters, which kinda flop around in truck mode), but the trailer is thin, hollow, gappy, and altogether underwhelming for the price. Hasbro still got my dollars, so I guess I’m only exacerbating the problem, but man, he doesn’t feel special enough to be the flagship Leader Class for this line.
