This morning Toys R Us had one FoC Soundblaster and plenty of the disk two packs, as well as Prime Thundertron, Dead End, Airachnid, Knock Out, Kup, FE Bulkhead. They also had one each GDO Swerve, Wheelie and Cliffjumper and plenty of the new Bot Shot five packs. I got one of the Bot Shot Stunticons packs and that's it.
Hey all!!! I hit TRU this morning. They had the new waves of both beast hunters Prime and generations in as well as one first edition Bulkhead. I grabbed the gerneration starscream and magnus. Happy hunting, the new stuff is here again.
Just got back from stopping by there in my lunch break...they still had one Ultra Magnus, two Sideswipes and a Starscream as well as one Soundblaster and several Soundwaves and a few of each of the Beast Hunters Deluxes. It's all still there minus the one Laserback I bought.
Just left TRU. Still had a Soundblaster on the shelf and one FE Bulkhead. Also they had all the Beast Hunters deluxes minus Laserback as I grabbed the last one. If you're looking for the latest wave of generations deluxes they had one each of Magnus, Starscream and Air Raid.
This afternoon TRU had wave 1 of Kreons (actual wave 1, not the preview wave) and the Ripclaw and Optimus Kreo sets
Stopped by TRU on my lunch break again today and they were fully stocked in Beast Hunters Wave 1 and Generations wave 3 again. I checked the Kreo stuff and all the Microchangers series 1 that I saw the other day had been cleaned out.
Boise Target had the deluxe Beast Hunters wave and the Cyberverse BH vehicles this afternoon. They also had the newest Bot Shots, bumblebee, Ironhide, Shockwave and Sunstorm. I picked up Sunstorm since its still the original design. The others were flip/spin shots which I'm not too fond of.
Yeah I stopped by earlier and the cyberverse vehicles caught my attention. Still no sign of restocking the kreon wave 1 guys.
I just bought the entire wave off eBay. It's not as fun as not knowing what you're going to get by getting the packs in-store but it's cheaper in the long run. I'd track them down using the codes but I feel like that's cheating LOL.
I'm really only trying to find the Bruticus and Devastator members in there so I can have all of them with the box-sets.
Yeah thats a bonus for sure. I've been on the lookout for those combiner sets but haven't seen them. I don't think the actual combined modes are that good but I do like the individual Kerons.
Shit I was going to go by there on the way home but figured they wouldn't have anything new. Oh well.
Hey fellow locals, been a while since I've popped in. Needed a break from car shopping today so I flipped over to TRU to kill some time. That last FoC Grimlock was long gone. I'm not really too high on any of the Beast Hunters stuff (except for that Abominus set from Target when it comes out), and the Generations stuff I'm still debating on so I passed on what was out there. They did have all of Wave 3 Generations (except Kickback), and all of Wave 1 BH Deluxe....as well as a pair of Generations Junkheaps if anybody missed em. ;-) They DID restock the Wave 1 Kreon Microchangers though, so I nabbed one of each. As near as I could tell, there was still at least one each left of the assortment. No sign of the combiners though...dammit. Also, is anybody going to Botcon this year? Only one I ever got to attend was 1998 in Anaheim when I lived out there, and was thinking of making a trip down there for a Summer vacation.
Hey man nice to see you pop in! I've thought about going to Botcon this year but I doubt I will. My wife and I went to the Oregon coast with her family last summer and we would really like to do it again so that's more than likely where my vacation money will go. If I can only swing one convention a year I'd probably rather go to yhe Percussive Arts Society International Concention. But I'd definite like to go to a Botcon eventually, I'm sure it will just take the right theme and box set to strike my fancy.
The Fred Meyer on Franklin and Orchard had the Beadt Hubters Zviyagers and Legends this morning. They also had Prime Kup and Rumble if anyone is still looking for those, as well as a few Vehicons if there are any army builders out there wanting more. Edit: jesus, you'd think I was drunk when I typed that! I can't even blame Autocorrect, just fat fingers! I'm leaving it as is just because of how hilariously bad it was but obviously I meant Beast Hunters Voyagers lol
TRU restocked the FoC Voyagers but they only had Grimlock. Three of 'em though if anyone wants it! They also had the Beast Hunters Voyagers, Legends and Cyberverse Commanders. The Transformers section was complete disaster. I hope it wasn't one of us who left it that way, that would be pretty disappointing. I cleaned it up as much as I could. On the Kre-O side they had Bruticus, Superion and Predaking combiner sets but no Devastator. Only one of each and I snagged them. The little Two-Packs with Trailbreaker and Windcharger with a basic Predacon set were plentiful. They also had the larger Bumblebee set but I didn't buy it.
Ash was awesome and went by at about 3:30. Only one Grimlock, now mine. Also nabbed the last Voyager Predaking.
