We got Friday tix a while back on living social for much less. Saw some cool things. Seems funko has become the number one toy there. Saw more figma than expected and surprised to see some 3rd party stuff. Got the pe scorpinok sd toy.
Have they had that stuff there in the past? I've asked friends before if they saw anything for sale but I don't think they had a clue.
I went a couple years ago and they did not. This year nktoys out of Chicago was there. I am not sure the other place that had combiner war stuff was called. There was an ok assortment of toys. I would had liked to seen more tf stuff but it was a decent enough assortment. Of course there were mostly action figures but I don't really collect that sort of thing.
Saw him today, but he was at the Wal-Mart in O'Fallon, IL. Left him there, too in case anyone is still looking for him. Stopped at Chesterfield TRU yesterday lunch. They had a bunch of EVERYTHING DISCOUNTED signs. They had a few AoE Dino Riders (or whatever the jousting things were called), a few Kre-O sets, a RescueBots Blades tall figure (Titan?), a few small Rescue Bots (non-transforming) figures...and that's about it as far as TFs are concerned (other than earbuds and a few other non-toy items). First Ferguson, now Chesterfield. Which TRU in the STL area is next on the closure list? Only time will tell....
Oh man! I just called and talked to the store, and confirmed they are closing on the 21st. That's my favorite toys "R" Us store, and the one that I take the kids to the most frequently.
Yep. They're already at the "up to 40% off" level, although TFs and the few LEGO sets remaining are only 20% off. And they have their Sharpies ready to mark through the UPC so you don't try returning stuff somewhere else. "Hey, kids! Wanna take a road trip to St. Peters?"
I go to that one the least, but it's still a bummer, not to mention very surprising. Of course, they still have the outlet store not too far away. Thanks for the info but I just decided to buy off amazon. The wave 2 deluxes are still at Bridgeton Target. Nothing worth noting at the Walmart or Kmart. Shocking, I know.
There is a TRU outlet store in a new mall in Chesterfield. It's on Outlet Blvd. I found out about them a few weeks back. Prices were not huge discount and they had some decent stuff even Combiner Wars but nothing I was looking for. I don't remember the name but it is out by Spirit of St. Louis Airport
Well, that would require seeing it in the store. I haven't seen him once and I have still *not* see a Motormaster to pickup. I just caved and ordered Air Raid online. May have to do the same for Magnus. Reviews seem to say he's a great figure except for how he holds his weapon.
