I so wish we had a second Target in Springfield, especially with how busy the one Target location always is. The parking situation is always a nightmare. Even when I think I'm being clever and go at 10:30 on a Monday... still busy. I've even heard of people living south of town who like to go to Branson Target because it's so much less busy. @Terradives was certainly not alone! Oh, and on that note, I stopped by both Targets in the general area yesterday: Springfield Target had an Elita-1 and a Tarantulas. Branson Target had the new wave of SS Voyagers, with a couple Galvatrons and a Bumblebee Thundercracker.
Quick thoughts: Neat little figure. Wing guns are detachable and are on his arms in bot mode. Arms don't seem to peg into the sides of the vehicle mode anywhere.
That would be a glorious place for a Target, I already like going to the Walmart in that area because they tend to have a good TF selection. I thought I heard a rumor they were looking at that area too, I think W Sunshine is being looked at by the city as a major expansion zone. But who knows. As it is I'll probably keep having to run to Branson or sit on my hands while Walmart procrastinates on ordering new TF waves. It's been a good time to catch up on some older figures I missed out on in the secondary market though!
It looks like they are about to start building something over there. They just added a new road out in to that empty piece of land behind Walmart. Hopefully not for more houses....

Bridgeton Walmart had Scourge, Override, Road Rocket and Blurr earlier today. Might’ve had the Skids remold too but I can’t remember now, sorry.

In case anyone in the greater Springfield area is looking for him, the itty-bitty Walmart in Buffalo, MO — which is my go-to for slightly out of date waves of figures, just a little tip there — has plenty of Studio Series Bumblebee Ironhide. They also have Perceptor and SS Bumblebee Arcee. Additionally, there’s a Cosmos hiding out in the Velocitron section, and I think there might be a Clampdown there too. They just restocked their transformers selection.
I love that tiny Walmart. I hit it up every time me and the family goes down to Stockton. Never found anything remarkable it’s just a unique experience.
I remember when the walmarts in town were about the size of a five-below and no produce. Then places like Venture started popping up, giving Kmart and Walmart some fierce competition. I must've purchased most of my 1996 figures from Venture, in fact. That's when Walmarts started to expand, and I mean EXPAND! Gone are the days of $7.77 deluxes.
Man I miss Venture too. I was 3 when I got my first transformer which was G2 Jazz and from Venture on the rock road where Kohls is now. Good times. Side story that wasn’t so fun was that same night my grandfathers truck was broken into while we were in there shopping. Oh memories… stuff was so cheap back then. I would be buying everything if I had the income I have now back then. Just thinking of how cheap KB toys was too with all their G2 stuff.
