I called target on this side of the river. Even though the intro message says they will not check inventory they did. The ones I called last night claimed nothing in stock.
Just at Brentwood Target. Have four Cyberverse deluxe, 2x Priowl, 1 each Soundwave and Starscream. Three Ss86 Hotrod and I snagged 1. Still that repack of leader Prime but no other Kingdom out.
Just nabbed SS86 Hot Rod and Scourge at the St Joseph Target. They still have 3 Hot Rod, 1 Scourge and 1 Thrust.
In the old days when I was in retail, that was true, once Christmas was over no one cared about holding toys. But with Target dealing with guys waiting outside at 8 A.M. open looking for Cobra Vipers, Mandolorians, and whatever else they can snag lately, the "high demand" tag applies and a lot of managers are starting to take it a lot more seriously. Thanks. Got a Hot Rod, but I missed Scourge. If I can tomorrow, I'll have to hit some KC Targets to see if I can get one.
My Pleasure, GizmoTron! Your post the other day about Target let me score each of the Kingdom figs (except the cores which I’m not really into and Prime, which I already have the Earthrise version of) and the last Thrust they had. I’m glad I was able to return the favor!
I hit Edwardsville, Wood River, and Collinsville Walmarts tonight. They are pretty ravaged, except for not having the ravage and soundwave 3pack I wanted.
Not a problem, I try to report what I find a bit more, but it's good to have another set of eyes around this side of the state. I mean I like the other Missouri posters here, it's a good group and knowing stuff is hitting in the Midwest is always helpful, but most of them and the sightings are around the east side and St. Louis and that might as well be posting in the Illinois thread for what I can do with the info. (But then again, a lot of my findings are actually in Kansas, so I guess it's fair!)
COMO Target has one more set of 86 voyagers as of 8am, the other left with me. No sign of deluxes or more kingdom.
Picked up Blurr and Jazz at the Liberty Target. No sign of the rest of Studio Series, but they still have 1 Blurr and a Kingdom Cyclonus plus two Thrusts. And got Scourge at the Barry Rd store across from Macy's. They had a Primal for Kingdom, a couple Thrusts, plus some of the Kingdom deluxes. They had a bunch of Hot Rods and two more Scourge on a new Bumblebee endcap they were building with some Gold Bumblebee ReAction figures (and a bunch of guys waiting for something in Electronics, but I didn't care to wait.)
Target in Osage Beach has a ton of Studio 86 voy. 1x Kingdom Meg and 2x Primes, 1x Chetor and bone guy, 1X op Primal and all the case of core class.That was after I dropped $300 for all that plus a Cobra Viper and Battle armor He-man and Skeletor.
You actually found a Viper? Do I want to know what unholy act you performed to get it? Congrats! I've never seen a single Target exclusive Joe on the shelves.
Technically well on the other side of the river in Kansas, but the Shawnee Mission Parkway Super Target had Studio Series Deluxes and Voyagers, so I got my Kup. Got 'em all for now until Grimlock shows up. Also ran into a bunch of those same guys from earlier, turns out the first 2021 Baseball sets are dropping this week and that's what they were all after, so I guess it's a big week for collectors everywhere.
Remember when everyone was griping that three Voyagers to a case resulted in shortpacking all the time? Well, we got what we thought we wanted, but if it still worked that way, Hasbro could alternate between these two case assortments: 1x Hot Rod 1x Scourge 1x Sweep 1x Hot Rod 2x Sweep Instead, each case has 1x Scourge or 1x Sweep, so it takes four cases' worth for a full set. I found exactly one Scourge (and exactly one Cyclonus), but I still need to locate three Sweeps....
He's buying multiple Scourges to act as sweeps rather than waiting for the actual Hasbro sweep we've seen rumoured.
Ah, gotcha. I heard about the possibility of a Scourge retool into a Sweep, but thought perhaps Hasbro snuck it in. Thanks Quantumhawk!
Florissant Target had Kingdom core class, and the deluxe's. I took the last Warpath, but there was a black arachnia and a cheetor and the Bony guy there can't remember his name.
