Anyone think its worth getting? I already got the regular siege so I don't see much of a point unless I wanted to get the white prime.

I went ahead and picked him up. For 35 bucks that's not bad. 15910198585803794747366227835912.jpg

Went to Saga Toys yesterday. Kicking myself for missing out on a few items they had: G1 Sureshot and Crosshairs with their Targetmasters, to name two. They have a great classic collection of stuff if you have a chance to check it out; got my G1 Quickswitch and Generations Gears there.

Yeah. Was trying to get my hands on one of the netflix magnuses on clearance but they kept shutting the doors on me. Just as well b/c the zeta unicron PO came due so whatever, but what about all those people that can't get to walmart 5 minutes after they leave work? Jeez.

I hope walmart closing at 5 was just a one day, or 1 store, thing. I checked the hours for a bunch of stores in the kansas city and st louis areas, on google, and it still shows all of them closing at 8:30 pm.

Even that isn't necessarily reliable. The Rock Rd. Walmart says it closes at 8:30 even on the signs on their doors, but they actually close at 8pm and use the last half hour to check people out. I have a big problem with that.

FYI not just limited to walmarts. Trader Joes and target were also closing earlier on some of those days, due to the protests (Target in brentwood boarded up all their windows). I think 5:00pm+ hours will resume once the demonstrations are fewer and thus less risk of riots.

According to a KMOX story on May 31, the first 5 pm close was last Sunday, and it included all Walmarts within 50 miles of St. Louis. (The Hampton Village, Brentwood, Bridgeton, and Florissant Targets also closed early.

Not knowing any of this, I arrived at the North Lindbergh Walmart at about 4:25 yesterday, and was told by a security officer to hurry up and get inside because they were about five minutes away from starting "lockdown." An announcement was made at 4:35 that the store was closing in 25 minutes, and that all customers should make their final selections and head to the checkouts. I heard at least two pages for all available associates to assist with pallet duty. On my way out, I saw several seven-to-eight-foot-high stacks of pallets in the...vestibule? airlock? (the place between the doors to outside and the doors to inside) almost completely blocking access between the entrance doors and the exit doors. Why put them there? Presumably for the first picture here, but at the Grocery doors. (The Home & Living Doors at this Walmart have been barricaded similarly 24/7 for who knows how long.)

Barricade...oh, that reminds me: I found quite a few of the Netflix TFs and Cyberverse deluxes taking up an endcap in...the Electronics area.

Of course! It makes perfect sense: These are Netflix figures, and Netflix is an Entertainment service that requires Electronic stuff to work so OF COURSE the figures are there rather than in the Toy Department!

    Yeah, but...no.

    Philosophically, or trying-to-get-there-after-working-much-longer-hours-at-home-than-you-would-if-you-could-actually-drive-to-your-job-site-ly?

Oh, the Florissant Target had an Earthrise Astrotrain and a Studio Series Shockwave. I don't think there was anything else too interesting. Most of Marvel's Abomination wave was on the pegs. Mar-vell's hairstyle didn't look quite right to me, but I think the last story of his that I read was (The NEW) Captain Marvel #39, for a quarter...way back in 1975.

I also stopped in the Lindbergh/New Halls Ferry Walgreens, where I bought Arno Stark (two more left at the time), V.I.N.CENT. and, since Maximillian wasn't there, Cliff Secord as a consolation purchase.

Yeah gonna make another play form them next Friday, when I'm off. Never thought I'll see the day the walmart closes before I get off work.

In the sense of “post your actual hours so I know when I can and can’t shop. Don’t say online and on your front door that you’re open until 8:30, and then at 8:05 when I’m halfway through shopping you start telling me the store is closed and I have to leave.”

I don’t know what any of that is without looking it up, but my Rocketeer fanboy alarm just started going off bigtime.

Ah. I believe that would be "you're-frustrating-your-customers-and-lots-of-people-are-already-frustrated-more-than-enough-so-is-that-really-wise-ly."

All right, then. Allow me to introduce...

    avmc.png
    • Arno Stark, who tried to apprehend Machine Man five years after he used a working time machine and ran afoul of a very perturbed Peter Parker.
    • V.I.N.CENT. (Vital Information Necessary CENTralized), crew member of the Palomino.
    • Maximilian, silent second-in-command of Dr. Hans Reinhardt aboard the Cygnus, until... ah-ah-ah. SPOILERS.
    • And I believe you are acquainted with Mr. Secord.

Let me know if you would be interested in splitting this three-pack from BBTS. That would be $27 from you for Collector's Grade Rocketeer with bonus flames, and $54 from me for Collector's Grade Maximillian and V.I.N.CENT. with bonus Old B.O.B. (That stands for BiO-sanitation Battalion. Yeah, the writers were really stretching. And yeah, it's really annoying that for the Walgreens version of V.I.N.CENT. they left AN ENTIRE FIGURE out of the box.)

I did know who Arno was, sorry. He’s our current Iron Man, right? ;)
