GO GO GO GO GO !!! F me. The kreons weren't up right away and by the time the site got my info and got the order ready, the Stormtrooper had sold out. It was IN MY CART!!! WTF?! Edit: Now I'm probably not going to get the Kreons either because I had to back all the way out of the process to remove the stormtrooper from MY FUCKING CART in order to proceed and the site is bogged down to less than a crawl...
I wanted Devastator and the Book of Vishanti for myself. I also had the Class of '85 & Stormtrooper for Wraith. I had all of these in my cart and submitted my credit card info when the transaction timed out on me. By the time I got back to checkout the Stormtrooper was sold out. By the time it let me finally remove it (and the Class of '85 since I saw Wraith was actively trying to buy it for himself) from my cart, the Book of Vishanti was sold out. In the end I only got Devastator. The site is now doing better now that everyone has bought up the stock and left. And the good news is that the TF stuff is all still in stock, so chances are you'll get the Class of '85 ...all I wanted was Dormammu. He was my main in MvC3...
This cart business was the worst I'm sorry that trying to grab stuff for me cost you what you wanted. I feel terrible - I didn't think I was going to be able to get to the site at all this morning.
Haha true enough. I got all that I wanted including the Dr. Strange set, except the mini Ant-Man thing didn't look too appealing for me. Although I thought I accidentally ordered 2 since I was ordering almost everything separately just so I wouldn't have to deal with the "out of shopping cart" fiasco. But only one...keep checking though usually stuff will pop up again in the next few days until they totally bring the item down.
You guys know the Stormtrooper is going to hit regular retail, right? It just won't have the booklet that has the evolution of a Stormtrooper, I believe. I bet even the packaging will be similar. Don't sweat it! Edit: The regular release is in September with all the other new movie merchandise, don't even have to wait that long for it.
I don't keep up with SW news, but I figured they would have to release it to mainstream retail. It's similiar to what they did with SDCC Boba Fett. There are too many collectors that want this or even want to army-build that they wouldn't release this mold again. It seems to be the trend Cough dinobots Cough...
Just found out that the Vishanti set was 2 per house hold from the HTS rep, probably why it sold out real fast...the hunters is 1 per house hold.
Devastator is now a whopping $170 at TRU, both in-store and online. Amazon still has it for $149, and it releases August 1st. Don't support TRU and their crappy price hikes just because an item is popular. There is no reason they should be charging $20 more than everyone.
