MP Sideswipe truly is a Chugsterpiece. I guess with the "Voyager" scale of MP-10 and this "Deluxe" the days of Masterpiece as a scale ended with Rodimus Prime. :thumbdown

Still a really good Chugsterpiece, but $90 is too rich for my blood.

Yup. No rush to get him. Classics sideswipe and alt sideswipe are just fine for me until a $40 or less hasbro version comes around.

Ok why do people keep getting the impression that we are getting an American version of masterpiece sideswipe? People we are Not i repeat Not getting an American version masterpiece sideswipe, hasbro has already made the statement that he's not coming to America and that they have no plans to do so. So people get your hands on the takara version while he's affordable before eBay prices drive him up in value.

Watch YouTuber transformers reviewer Optibotimus review on masterpiece sideswipe and he mentions that his reliable sources from hasbro that hasbro will not be releasing an American version of masterpiece sideswipe! I've been a long time subscriber to his channel and a lot of times he accurate with his reliables sources. Just saying.

As editor of "Sideswipe Afficianado" magazine, i gotta say that MP Sideswipe is awesome, unless you don't care for Sideswipe. If you are a fan of Sideswipe, this will go well with the gold embassed hardcover of Sideswipe fanfic as you read it in front of the fireplace.

Haha. He does look awesome, just can't do $90 for a Chugsterpiece. Other than the iGear Faith Leader I had to buy after I saw Custer's my personal spending cap is around $25-$30 for Deluxes, even awesome ones.

he tell me ≠ hasbro making official statement.

I'm sorry I'm just very skeptical with places like RK stating that we wont get GDO voyagers here after they've been shown by hasbro, only because they're left with overpriced asian exclusives that they can't sell. I'm not saying opti has any motivation to give false information, but this fandom is fueled by kiddies making rash decisions because of paranoia.

A lot of reviewers have ties to online resellers/distributers now as well, so that's also something to keep in mind. Like I said I really don't care though. Either we get an american version or I'm not owning the figure.

Yessir, got my notice this morning as well.

I could see Hasbro making a more-plastic MP Sideswipe, similar to how US Alternators lost the die-cast.

True, they probably don't have plans right now, but who's to say that in another quarter or three they won't consider it.

questions for you guys, i did a trade with someone in the uk and have an agreement through emails, non transformers, i have 2 items he wanted to trade for one item he had, deal was i send one to him, once he gets it, he send mine, once i get it i send the second item.

i have sent the first and it says delivered, but he says he does not have it and was signed by someone else.

long story short he keeps ignoring my solutions to the problem. is there any way to hold him legally to this even though he is in the UK?

otherwise im just gonna have to cut my loss and take it as i have lost an item :(

$90, deluxe-sized, and all plastic? wut.

Across the ocean? Ha, doubtful. I think you got burned.

My buddy Colin lives in the UK. They all know each other, right? Remember him from BotCon? Maybe we can ask him to go bust some heads.

I believe insurance is included with USPS First Class International, so I would expect you can file a claim with USPS. It won't be easy or timely, but if you provide them with all of your emails from the recipient you might get some traction, but be advised it won't be resolved quickly.

Also, you will only be able to claim the declared value.

Hopefully the item turns up for the guy and he stops acting like a turd.

While I attended the Hasbro panel at New York Comic Con, I heard them say firsthand that Hasbro currently doesn't have the license from Lamborghini yet. That just means exactly what they said. They don't have the license. Doesn't mean they can't or won't get it. Doesn't mean that they will get it.

My opinion? We'll get it at some point. Maybe not in 6 months. Maybe not in a year. But at some point we'll get it. It'd be really silly for them to pass on an opportunity to sell a figure that has a half dozen repaint opportunities over the next few years. The mold should easily pay for itself.
