Finally found TFA exclusives at the TRU in Crystal Lake, bought one of each, leaving behind a single Ratchet. Still haven't seen a Legends Devvy beyond the one I bought in McHenry.

Nothing official, but I'm gonna guess September.

Oh, most of the other releases ought to be out starting June. I may
jump on the Japanese Wingblade Prime myself, mainly 'cuz that'll
be out long before Hasro releases theirs--if they do at all.

Now that the NEST line has run it's course, I can assume Hasbro will let a month maybe 2 go buy for sales to clear product space so the Hunt for the Decepticons line will start, then gradually add the generations line into the mix. If it were left up to me we'd be getting figures from Transformers 4 by now.

There are only 2010 of these being made and all are numbered. We are going to order from Robotkingdom so payment is required right away.
I thought that I read that there were two releases of this toy, with the e-Hobby exclusive version being the only run limited to a total of 2010 pieces. The TakaraTomy versions will be numbered, but I believe their run is going to be larger. I'm a few credits shy of my Japanese language degree, so I will look for an English-language source to corroborate this info. It looks like most sites are selling the TakaraTomy version at the $250-$300 price point. Due to the limited run, I presume the e-Hobby exclusive is going to be even more expensive.

Some sites are estimating a June 2010 release while others say this won't ship until September. Is this a reference to the two different versions?

I really want to jump onto the order, but since I can't resist opening my TFs it feels like this figure is going to be a bit spendy for me to justify as an open box toy. These may become infamous words since the toy may quickly double in value due to the exclusivity of the runs...

Does anyone know any more detail regarding the above?

Generations Wave I is going to hit late May to early June. Hasbro already said this and they have to have them out by then as WfC is out June 22nd. Im guessing TRU MP Grimlock will show in June-ish.

Soon after Target last reset their aisles, someone said that Transformers would have a special display on that new, shorter, endcap that the action figure aisle has. If I remember correctly, they said it would happen after Bakugan and Iron Man had their go. If I'm remembering correctly that it was after Iron Man and that the person was correct, then I figure it should happen in about another month after the Iron Man excitement has died down. For the time being then, Target can keep the ROTF product on the pegs and shelf while putting the new product on this endcap.
