Small world though, huh? | Seeing your from Palatine, I thought you went there. I should see if I can get him to come back for SF4. I don't know if he even plays it. Forgot we played Killer Instinct too, part 2 sucked. I don't play video games much anymore, and have just stuck to playing pinball tournaments. I don't know if you ever went to Dennis Place for Games and met Dennis himself. Well, Dennis doesn't have any of the arcades anymore, but he does own a restaurant on Cumberland and Lawrence called Phoenix. It is a small world, hope to meet ya at one of our meetups in the future.

Who is this u speak of? | haha. like I said I've been lurking this site for some time, and made an account a few months back to check out some of the forum attachments friends were linking me to. they wouldn't load unless I made an account ;P
but yeah, I'll do a short formal intro I suppose. name's Jim, and like most of us I was bitten by the G1 bug when I was around 4 years old. I fell out of tf's for a long time and finally got into collecting when a friend brought alt silverstreak into work and I was pretty much like jaw dropping "wtf is that, GIB."
so yeah alts got me into actually collecting tf's. think that was around 2004-5ish, and I've pretty much been collecting all things tf since then, aside from the majority of the movie models (really don't like most of the designs). I've probably got around 200 currently in my collection, mostly reissues and new era stuff though. I'm not rich enough to start authentic G1 collecting
aside from tf's, I play alot of competitive fighters (sf4/blazblue atm), try to compete in a lot of local gatherings/events for games, do some custom joystick mods, and work my ass off. so yeah, that's about it.
oh, since I mentioned custom joystick mods, here's my SF4 TE sticks. figured you TF guys will like them galvatron 1 (360) galvatron 2 grimlock 1 (PS3) grimlock 2 |

I had a ton of G1 toys as a kid, but they all got broken, lost, or sold. Alternators Hound was the first one I saw and I had to have it, as G1 Hound was one of my favorite characters. Welcome to the boards! I'm a fairly recent poster on these forums as well, but it's a good group and I hope to meet them at some point. |

I play nu (v-13) just so you know what to expect. Yes she's cheap, broken, stupid, etc, but a lot of fun if you're playing her
