Thanks for the walmart on touhy tip guys. There was only one on the shelf when I went to look, but you never know they may have more in back. The paint app on the one that was on the shelf looked absolutely fine so I picked it up. Hopefully they got some more in back and restock for some of you going out there today. Last thing I want to be is the noob that pisses off the rest of the local guys ;P

If there are none on the floor, either they sold fast or didn't have room on the floor..... that would be quick to sell that many. |

I got there around 10pm and decided to take a look, as I saw them putting out new stock. They had 4-5 boxes on a pallet. I quickly had a employee open one up and left around 11pm. Glad I went last night as they have disapered quickly.
I'm not a big fan of MP Skywarp but I purchased him because I missed out on MP Starscream.
So if anyone wants to trade a Skywarp for Starscream let me know. |

Smart move to go into the printing industry. I play tested games too, back when I use to go to Diversions arcade. Use to go to Taito often and Sega, pinball that is, now Stern. Also, got to play test Mortal Kombat at Midway. My friend went on to play test there on and off all the time. Its too bad there are no more arcades except for Gameworks and Dave & Busters. If anyone is still looking for a set of TRU reissues, I hid a set at the one on Golf. Pm for location.

I walked around a bit and didn't see any on a floor pallet or endcap display. There very well could have been another display for them, but I had what I wanted and after about 5 minutes of looking around the toys section I was ready to go.
Also the walmart I went to (central/touhy) is actully niles. I'm not sure if there's another location in skokie off touhy. So maybe we're talking about 2 different stores. Quote:

It was nickel city after that, and now some local people are trying to develop a console fighting game scene out in the burbs.
You might know my guys adam & lex if you tested over at midway. They tested all the mk's there, and afaik lex is still like the world grandmaster at umk3, lol. I met the majority of those guys just playing fighting games at arcades, they're all chill dudes. |

My friend's name is Eddie Ferrier and we use to go all over Chicagoland arcades to play Street Fighter and MK. I might have met you or played with ya at some point. Remember Just for Fun arcade at Town & Country mall?

Remember Just for Fun arcade at Town & Country mall? | Nah, never went to just for fun arcade. I do know eddie though, he came back for a bit a few years ago when sfIII: 3rd strike was popular at nickel city. Him and lex would play umk3 and literally make the game look like it was marvel vs capcom 2. Cool game to watch, but never learned how to play. Small world though, huh? |
