Anyone seen Swindle anywhere recently? ..discount stores or otherwise? I found the other 3 limbs at the Marshalls in Chevy chase/DC a few weeks back and so I need Swindle to finish Bruticus. I think Walmart online has a decent price so I may go that route.

 

Frederick Target had 2 Highbrows and a Chromedome for deluxes, and they had 1 Alpha Trion and 1 Astrotrain as well. 1 Highbrow remains. Had no idea the newer voyagers were starting to show.

Also, for those still on the fence on Leader PM Op, Walmart.com has him on sale for $33. I'd imagine they would price match that in store.

 

Hey all! Been lurking but finally got around to registering.

Stopped in the marshalls in glen burnie/pasadena and picked up a menasor and superion gift set. Looked like at least 3 more of the menasor gift sets and a couple motormasters left on the shelves.

 

Towson Plaza Target has Astrotrain, Leader Blaster, Leader Optimus, and RiD Wingblade and some others. I grabbed the Voyager Alpha Trion, though.

No Titan Masters or Legends other than what looked like a Laserbeak.

Thanks! I'm still just dipping my toes back in the collecting world after a pretty long break. Can anyone recommend some shops for g1 or other lines? I try not to buy online because I love the hunt and getting my hands on something before I buy it.

 

How much were the gift sets there?

 

$39.99 and I believe (I'll double check the receipt) the single motormasters were $14.99

 

So glad to see the $39.99 box sets hitting Maryland now.. Our house is set for Superion (bought online) and Menasor (found in Charlottesville, VA) so Computron is the new holy grail (if that turns out to not be an isolated sighting in Kentucky). My son wants TR Blaster for Christmas so I am keeping my eye out for sales/coupons there as well. I'll be checking a few MoCo locations every few days and keep everyone here looped in.

Update: (As promised..) Rockville TJ Maxx has 1 Menasor box set in the middle of a table full of other trucks and such. Rockville Marshalls has 1 Onslaught.

 

Picked up the only astrotrain at ellicott city target. Didn't see any alpha trions there. They're both in stock online though at target.com with free shipping. Got alpha ordered for $25.14 to my door with expected delivery between Wednesday and Friday. Nothing new at Columbia target.

 

How is Astrotrain?

 

He's really nice. One of my favorite figures from TR, he's one I fiddle with a lot.

 

I really like him too. My luck with this mold has been weird though. My sentinel prime had about half of the mentioned qc issues and now my astrotrain has the other ones lol. Its an amazing mold and Astrotrain is the better of the 2 by a mile but I find it hilarious that both versions I've gotten have had different issues.

 

What kind of qc issues does the mold suffer from?

Mondawmin Target has one each of TR Astrotrain and Alpha Trion

 

On my sentinel there were loose knees, the legs didn't stay together in jet mode, and the tail fins wouldn't stay in their socket. The astrotrain has a slight curve in train mode and loose elbows.

 

Just picked up Bisk from the Walmart on Junpers Hole in Glen Burnie. They also had a full case of TR wave 2 deluxe in the pegs. Also, if anyone is interested the Walmart exclusive 3.75" black figs are in the wild. Saw the full set at Jumpers Hole and a Jyn at the Glen Burnie one off of rte 10.
