Seems everything is in lex anymore. Louisville is either gettin picked clean by those lovely scalpers or just not gettin jack shit in.
I hate scalpers. If any retailer had anything akin to integrity they'd say two of the same toy per a customer period. They know people scalp this stuff, but if it's off their shelves they don't care. I only really Buy through on line retailers anymore. The hunt for figures was fun before gas got to be damn near five dollars a gallon, then the scalpers in Lexington got horrible. Ain't worth it looking in a store anymore sadly.

You know, if you can hold out until April, Botcon would be the ideal place to sell them. Get a table, or hook up with somebody else getting a table, easy peasy.
Maybe but im not lookin to part out...nor know anyone i can sell there with so its kinda like im stuck ya know. I'd rather just try to get rid of em all it once so i dont get tempted to get back i to collecting 'em.
Well, here's my two cents, take it for what it's worth... If you have a sizable collection, worth, say, upwards of $1000, you're unlikely to come across anybody who isn't a dealer who is able, or indeed willing, to buy the whole collection at once. Most people don't have that kind of money available, and most fans will already own a lot of what you're selling, unless you've got old or rare stuff, which of course makes the collection worth even more. And a dealer will only offer you a fraction of the collection's value, because they're just going to turn around and resell it, and want to make a profit doing so. If the collection is worth $1000, even a generous dealer would only offer you $500. So parting it out really is the best way to get the most money out of it. I totally get not wanting to deal with eBay, and shipping, and deadbeat buyers, which is why I suggested selling it at Botcon. If you're not into running a booth, that's why I suggested pairing up with somebody who is. I can tell you now that, barring a catastrophe, I'll have a booth. I would imagine other local people will too. (This is the part where anybody else reading this who plans to get a booth should chime in.) Botcon may never come to our backyard again. You've got six months to get to know somebody you could partner with or who could sell your collection for you on consignment. You want to get rid of the whole thing, well, I witnessed the Hartmans unload thousands of figures at Botcon this year (literally I had a front row seat--my booth was right across from theirs). The end of the day Sunday, it was all gone. And 95% of it was general retail stuff from Beast Wars, Unicron Trilogy and Movieverse. So it can be done. I don't see how any other option can look anywhere near as good. Six months from now, a ballroom downtown is going to be packed with Transformers fans from all over the world, both hardcore and casual, and they want to buy Transformers toys. Give them the opportunity to buy yours.

CW Legends wave 4 has finally showed up at Target. That case assortment again is: 2x Rodimus 2x Skywarp 2x Blackjack 2x Groove
Finally got a look at CW Magnus in person. Found it at the Frankfort Wal-Mart. Not all that impressed.
I went to the one in Radcliff on Friday, got Jhiaxus, Arcee and Chromia, and decided I'd wait till I got my money right on Sunday to pick up Waspinator and Windblade. Went there today and every deluxe was gone. Someone in Radcliff has made a powerful enemy. Though while we're talking about the one in Radcliff, they had a few voyager Roadbusters for 12.99. Picked one up on my way back to Uni.
