Often the case is that they assume the new is the same as the old which already exists in their system... which is true enough price-wise and they probably don't keep up with "what's new" for a toy line/class size. It happens with a lot of toys that look the same but have different bar codes. Mega Bloks troop builder packs are into their newer waves now and the new sets are mixed in with the old in a case. Same with TFs. Shelf stocker sees x in a box with y... sees y on the shelf... shrugs and sticks both on the shelf. I often just offer to either go back and collect another item of the same value that I know will ring up or even collect a price tag. But then, I've become recognizable at my haunts and have earned their trust.

Sorry, didn't mean to get your hopes up - they haven't even started building yet. Just got the lot zoned and now they are apparently working on the finer details before beginning construction. I would bank on it being a year or so before completion. By that time the Broadway Walmart (the new one) will likely be completed and - take this with a grain of salt, it's merely hearsay - the Bashford Manor Walmart will be getting shuttered. No idea why, but the place mondo sucks, so no love lost. In other news, still hunting for Air Raid - might haunt a few more Walmarts. I'll probably be a regular in the Springhurst Walmart for a while. Btw, Breakdown is AWESOME. Dead End is really good. Offroad is GREAT. Menasor is... a letdown. Here's to hoping Defensor blows it out of the water.
Yah im just debating on gettin' em as tru is over priced 20 bucks ...( i don't go there anymore) target doesnt hardly stock, and wally world gets lazy or doesnt bother to check. Like i said ill hope i can trade someone for a loose complete figure for some of what i have or such. Maybe ill post some of that neca stuff sittin in my closet. Haha Thatd be nice since tru is likely the only place to carry it so expect it to jump 60 bucks or so like they did with Metroplex.
And expect the big guy to turn up at Costco for a hundred bucks. With any luck. Give what we've seen so far... I'm not keen on paying such a premium for him.

Ahhh, it feels good be caught up , if even for a minute. Just started recollecting NES games, this should be fun. Those Retron 3's people are selling (Book n music) are pretty sweet. Controllers are shit but it works with Nes, Snes and Genesis contollers.
