Hey, sorta off-topic, but I goofed up and I accidentally have two Primals coming in the mail to me, so if anyone wants the other one I'll charge cost (plus shipping if you want me to mail it, but I'm in St. Clair Shores and could meet you somewhere if you want).
TF section at the 'super' Kroger in Sterling Heights. Still have those hilariously awful stretched out jumbo bots on the bottom shelf.
Target on Ford Rd had 5 SS86 Hot Rods and one Kingdom Primal. plus the same sad RackNRuin that I'm pretty sure has been sitting there since before the pandemic.
thanks for that Ecto-1 was still there when I went today. Odd side note: no new tfs, but there was a SS Cogman on the peg
I was there last night asking about Studio Series 86 deluxes. Guy asked what figure I wanted. Told him Kup. He came back and said they had soundwave, hot Rod, and cogman.
Ann Arbor Target has wave one Kingdom deluxes and a bunch of Ectotrons. Ypsi Target had 4-5 Hot Rods and an Ectotron.
Hey fellow michiganders, im trying to catch up on some older figures and i was wondering how the local comic stores are like with there new/used transformers section. I the only comic/collectible store i have been to is big bens comic oasis which is great but its a bit more of a drive for me. While looking online ive seen stores like warp 9 and comix corner which are a bit closer than bens, and i was wondering how your personal experiences have been and what type of selection these stores have and other similar stores you have been to. I appreciate your time.
The two I frequent whenever I have free time are Nerd Out in Ferndale and Time Travelers in Berkeley. Nerd Out is my preferred choice as the store owner knows a lot about Transformers and has a really good selection of great-conditioned figures from G1 to War for Cybertron and Studio Series. On the other hand, he does base the value of older figures on eBay prices, but he’s usually really good with giving you a good bargain on multiple items purchased. I’d definitely recommend checking it out even if you live a far bit outside of Ferndale, totally worth it! Meanwhile, Time Travelers’ team doesn’t strike me as TF collectors from the many times I’ve been there, but nevertheless they also have a large selection, with many more larger figures than Nerd Out. While some of their stuff might not be well kept, prices are a lot lower than what you’ll see at Nerd Out or other toy stores. So if you’re fine with incomplete items or want to buy multiple loose copies to make a complete, I’d definitely recommend checking Time Travelers out! Hope I was able to help out!
Belleville Walmart has a case of Studio Series 86 deluxes minus 1 Kup. Also a ton of Hot Rods and Scourges.
alot of the prime wars legends, plus alot of the rarer deluxes(misfire, twinstist, repungus, etc.) but im not expecting to find those. Thats what im really looking for in older figures. Plus anything that catches my eye really
Would you be interested in buying loose ones? I have the 3 monster it’s and a lot more titans return and power of the Primes stuff. Some combiner wars too.
