Michigan Transformers Sightings

Found Onslaught and Powerglide at Saginaw Target. According to Hasbro CHLD TU ULTRA ONSLAUGHT : Target (Target website DPCI checker) Fenton and West Lansing still have some, though I only checked stores close to Midland.

Saginaw TRU and Bay Rd. Wal-Mart didn't have anything special, though I thought it was odd that the Wal-Mart didn't have any center islands for Clone Wars/Legacy Collection toys... unless they sold through them already.

I am JTKranix - I used to post on seibertron.com in the Michigan thread but since they continue to "improve" the site and make it less functional I have decided that I am going to make the move to tfw2005.com and post over here.

I'm based in Lansing and I have a pretty large Transformers collection. I also collect some Star Wars stuff and I used to collect G.I. Joe but I have decided to get rid of my collection because the line is more or less impossible to complete and the issues with HTS this morning crossed the line with me.

I usually post my findings on Seibertron.com, because their findings thread is a lot bigger... but when I find things like that DPCI code, I like to share. Maybe I'll post more here! Going in a few minutes to see if Midland Target has DS Starscream on clearance! Will edit post with findingness.

Edit: Well, I went to the Midland Target, and checked for Starscream. I couldn't find him anywhere! Luckily when I got back home I looked it up on the Target website, and it said that they had some. I called and they said they were in the back room and were still $20. Ah well. I know waiting for clearance is awful, but sometimes Target puts stuff on clearance so fast its mind boggling (though, then again the stuff that gets put on clearance is mind boggling, like those glow in the dark Target exclusive Hulk figures...). Oh, and the Midland Target also had two Soundwaves and one Snarl. I imagine the rest of the wave is in the back, but they just put stuff out as they need it. Or when they find the two Ninja-Ku Storm Shadows that were supposed to be out with the rest of the wave when they put it out... two weeks ago. o.O (MY BRAIN!)

I used to be a lot more active in the Michigan thread over there before the first "upgrade" to the forums. At that point I stopped caring for the most part because it was so slow.

I went to the Okemos Target and Okemos TRU during lunch.

Okemos Target I bought Universe Onslaught and Powerglide. They only had one of each. It's one of the nice Targets with the DPCI input - they had no more in the store room. I also picked up a Millennium Falcon, they don't have them on the shelf but they do have them in the store room.

They also had 3x Snarl, Jazz and 1x Oil Slick along with one Decepticon Heavy Load. No Animated Soundwave to be found and no new Star Wars figures with 1st Day of Issue stickers. Nothing G.I. Joe related either.

Okemos TRU was a bust as it pretty much always is. Lots of Animated w1 deluxes, voyagers and a couple of leaders. Nothing Star Wars or G.I. Joe wise. That store is worthless.

My wife just sent me a text message saying she picked me up Universe Onslaught and Powerglide at the South Lansing Target. She didn't say anything about any other toys.

Hurray! Now I don't have to hunt down a set to open!

Mt Pleasant Target has spaces cleared for Universe Ultras and Voyagers but only 2 or 3 Deluxes out on the shelves right now.


Also had 2 Animated Jazz' and 1 Oil Slick.

Hey, between our stores we have a set of wave 3 deluxes! :O Maybe they decided to ship half to Midland and half to Mt. P?

And congrats, JTKranix (JT? JTK? Kranix?) they're super awesome. My Powerglide's left arm doesn't quite peg in as good as the left, but it pegs in well enough.
