I'm going to Midland Mall Comic Con this coming Saturday, March 3rd. Will anyone else be there on Saturday too? I'd love to meet up!
I must say, this is a *fantastic* set for the price. Fun build and shows off a lot of new speed champs techniques. Can't wait to find the Ferrari at some point if the rest of this year's will be this good.
hey yall. had to quit my job a few weeks ago for health reasons and have a bunch of my extras listed on ebay. take a alook and if anyone wants anything lmk and im sure we can work something out. reallybigfanpod on eBay
Keep an eye out at your local goodwills, the clio location just got some target overstock, and ended up finding 2 red cogs in it... They might be showing up at other locations...
Is Armada Starscream worth getting? I wasn't planning to get him since I never watched the Unicron Trilogy but now that I have Hot Shot, will get Armada Prime, and have Cybertron Override feels right to have Armada Starscream but not sure. And he's showing up at stores so I am debating grabbing him
Not everyone loves him but personally I’d say yes. I think he’s a really fun figure to mess with. Like him more than Override. I need to repaint one of the eyes since it a little paint was chipped but still a nice figure.
I like him...he's a pretty good update of the original toy and comes with a "star saber" to wield...or you can give it to Hot Shot lol. I wouldn't pay a premium for him, but he's definitely worth a look if you can get it for retail or less.
Troy Walmart had a Blitzwing. There are QC issues with loose joints and tabs not staying in place. Ours wasn't too bad compared to what others are reporting.
7 cents per piece, a couple new elements, a movie license, and some really interesting new engineering makes it a pretty strong value in a post-August world. I'd definitely agree if it was part of the sets that increased in price after hitting shelves, for sure. But as a fresh one? I'd say it's a strong value versus other contenders. But I digress, to each their own on value judgements. The inflation/justification debate is outside the context of this thread, I think. But it sucks ass for us as consumers for hobbies of any sort. TFs also suffering from this.
Just got back from Roseville Walmart, found a Metalhawk and a Twincast. Saw they had the Evolution Wave 1 Deluxes too, and AFAIK these are the first Evo figures this particular store has put out. Never saw Tarn or Lio Convoy anywhere near me at retail, FWIW.
Picked up Scraphook and Metalhawk. But I was stupid enough to forget that Breakdown was is in the old packaging, so I could have overlooked him
Damn, really? I don't need him but I have some friends keeping an eye out for him, I'll have to keep this in mind!
Damn, Evolution has been all over the place hasn't it? I've had my Lio Convoy since last month from Amazon, so the fact that both his wave and the new wave are showing up right now is wild
