Welcome to Indiana, Undertaker! For old toys, Closet Space Toys down in south Indy and Toy Pit up on the NE side have both been good sources. There's a Midwest Transformers Group on fb, where we sometimes organize meetups with Orson from Captured Prey and Duron from TFYLP (which also has its own fb group); the last one here in Indy was last year.
Don't forget the regular round of 'cons in the area, specifically Indy. I know I've personally made out like a bandit at Ash Comicon.
Found Scourge, Blurr, and Skullcruncher in Castleton Toys r Us. They were the last three and the boxes were pretty beat up. Somebody else got the first pickings and the last Hardhead.
Ha, looks like I just missed them. I did manage to get the last Sentinel Prime they had, though. Both Greenwood and Greenfield TRUs didn't have any Titans Returns, though the latter did have a Thunderhoof and Quillfire (first time I've seen them).
No, the only other Voyager they had was a Motormaster. I probably would've gone with Galvatron instead if he was there. The packaging for the CW and TR Voyagers are a lot more similar to each other than the Deluxes. I had to do a double-take to notice that he wasn't another Scattershot or something .
TRU Lafayette had 1st wave Titians. By the time I got there on July 1st they had one Hardhead which I bought. And the orange ORANGE!!! Lol S-Prime. 2 soon for Titians but we know they are out. CW are just about every where Smokescreen, wheeljack, ext. looking for Skylinks.
About to see what Monticello Wal-Fart has. Will report. Last I saw there was two CW Leader Skywarp. RID's glorious tho. Wish it was opposite!
CW Silverbolt? Why are there sooo many? Wish they would pull them so other CW can be out. Frustrating because I hear other far off places getting the newer waves. Yes online is a fix. But I like to see the TF 1st. Any one have a answer? Over stocked ok then clearance those suckers lol
Found more deluxes. Newburgh Walmart had two of each deluxe figure. Now 2x of Hardhead and Skullcruncher, and 1X of Scourge and Blurr. Funny thing is i went out and skipped it even though it is the closest store by far. Went to east side evansville WM and Meijer, then got gas as i went to boonville. Got a few groceries and said screw it, will check out Newburgh WM. I get to the aisle and see two pegs with 2 figures each. Both Hardhead and Skullcruncher. "Slag i missed those two again!" i thought, then glanced down a saw another peg with 2x of the others. Snatched one each of them and was happy. Will check out Target for basics in the morning.
found Found the same wave (Blur, Hardead, Skullcruncher, Scourge) at the Walmart in Rensselaer, IN on my way to Chicago yesterday. They had one complete set left on the pegs when I left.
Thanks for the tip. I decided to check evansville west walmart and was just about to give up as they only had a bunch of rid stuff with a diagram of a new peg layout hanging up. I made a walk through the other toy aisles and low and behold, about 4 each of the first wave of tm deluxes at the very end of the aisle right before you get to the end cap. Picked up hardhead, blurr, scourge, and I was goin to skip skullcruncher but the entire wave looks so go on card, I just got all 4.
No voyagers in Evansville area yet sadly. No legends, heads, or leaders yet. Seen deluxes at East side Wal-Mart. Lots of em. Saw a bunch at Princeton Walmart a few days ago. About 2-3 cases worth.
