Score! I’m glad it was worth the trip. That Walmart is almost always a bust. I lived just a few miles down the road from it when it was first built and thought it was the coolest thing (growing up out in the sticks, we always had to drive at least 25 minutes to get anywhere). Sadly, they just don’t normally seem to get stocked as well or as often.
Picked up a few ROTB things at Tuttle. The Flex Changers were $16.99! Seems quite pricey for a glorified one step.
Hey all, went to Stow and Cuyahoga Falls this morning looking for a GI Joe set for a friend and ended up coming across SS 93 Hot Rod at both places so he might end up showing up at more stores here soon!
Eastgate walmart has nothing new like it always doesn't. Eastgate Meijer has some ROTB stuff: Spark Racers: Barricade, Bumblebee Battle Masters: Rhinox, Cheetor, Skullcruncher Beast Weaponizers: Prime/Arrowstripe, Prime/Chainclaw, Bumblebee/Snarlsaber Battle Changers: Rhinox, BumbleBee, Optimus Smash Changers: Prime, Primal Masks: Bumblebee (I took the last primal)
Those were not there. I've seen the Walmart ROTB display many times in Columbus, but no mainline deluxe/voyager toys in any of them.
I can’t believe I’m typing this, but I found Dead End at Cin-Day Walmart! There were 2, grabbed one, left one. Had the whole deluxe wave if you’re missing anyone. There were 2 Armada SS, no Infernos, so my hunt for Ant Man continues.
Tuttle Walmart had these guys on the pegs in the aisle; I only saw one other Skullcruncher on the peg but they had a few each of Cheetor and Rhinox.
Xenia Walmart has the Skullgrin wave, but I just grabbed the only Dead End I saw. They also have some of the ROTB Voyagers along with the other assorted ROTB stuff.
Checked the Macy's "Toys R Us" section at Anderson Towne Centre today. Had a couple of 86 Voyager Hot Rods, a Kickback, a couple of Skids, and that's about it. Checked the Gamestop nearby and the only Transformer they had was an 86 Junkheap on clearance. 30% off clearance price plus $5 coupon equals $18.74 voyager in my collection...
Whoops - misreported last night, North Olmsted was not Skids it was Crankcase x2. There was one Armada Starscream there amongst the Jihaxius pile. N.O. Target had a few newer Core Class figures. I snagged the Nemesis Prime.
Been fiddling with those mini weaponizer guys since getting them at lunchtime, they're really neat and worth picking up if you get a chance.
Ashtabula Walmart: ROTB display (dang, those masks are MASSIVE) Soundwave/Jhiaxus wave of Voyagers Nothing else really of note. Did have the ROTB Voyagers but sold out. Middlefield Walmart: ROTB display but the guy was tearing it down and putting each "shelf" piece on end caps, even on girl aisles. Not sure why he didn't just leave it as it came from the pallet but whatevs. 1x Legacy Bulkhead (yeah, you read that right!) 2x cases of BB Soundwave/SS86 Hot Rod 1x SS86 Blurr 2x Velocitron Blurr 1x case wave 1 Legacy Deluxes And 1x case of ROTB Voyagers. I left one Prime, bought the other and Primal. Amish country sometimes surprises you. Oh, and 1x SS86 Sludge.
Hilliard Rome Walmart has the new ROTB display, with Voyagers. (No deluxes.) I took the only Primal, leaving two Primes.
Snatched these at my local NE Ohio Wally Mart! 2 Primes and 1 Primal per case! $33.97 each is pricey IMO…Would have grabbed a Flex changer for shits and gigs but those are going for $16.97…..
