Pulse is beginning shipping on him today too, so any extras will possibly go up today. 85 dollars though is nuts. I honestly do not regret never going to that store... I remember when TF2 used to post here a lot. I understand you have to make money and I don't know what price he bought Megatron for to get him into his store this early but cmon, thats just crazy. Nobody but people who freak out about never finding him anywhere before he's even officially out would bother paying that price now that so many online stores sell TF's with the change to solid cases of single figures becoming available for e-tailers a few years back. Edit: While Megs is sold out, Pulse does have Inferno and Armada Screamer available. IIRC, he's Autistic. (That's not a condemnation, but an explanation of some of his M.O.) I think his mother helps him operate the store/site at this point from what I've heard. I do know he used to be on Rangerboard and he'd post his hauls and it would be like a solid case of a given figure/role play/item and so on. People would tear into him constantly and he'd never say a word, but I do know those words affected him because I PM'd him and told him not to listen to those people and that he'd done nothing wrong and he sent me a thumbs-up emoji, so he clearly is processing what others say about him. I think that same thought process goes into his store/operations. I'm guessing he and his mom look at the market value, plus the cost of getting them in at an early time (plus being stuck with any stragglers or case assortments they might get), and price it "appropriately" to offset their costs. That said, $85.00 is more than offsetting the cost. That basically pays for an entire case and I think they know what they're doing past a certain point.
I do remember that now that you say it. I agree. 85 bucks is to that point of knowing exactly what you're doing.
I don't think the store is open for shopping- I think you can do an in-person pickup. I am sad the store isn't open- I always liked to enter and see what all he had avail- I have always been impressed with his selection. It was nice to get to visit a store ran by a collector- and all of my interactions with him or his mom were great!

Newark Walmart had these in the aisle near the toy section. Lots of Ratchets, Primes, Wheelies, G2 Megs and Shockwaves but not a single Spike.
seems like Spike's wave just kinda got missed in a lot of stores due to saturation of wave 1. I will say though, online stores have been restocking him though.
I've seen an odd one or two of him around Cbus a time or two but thats about it. Can't bring myself to pull the trigger on him though, I've got too many nitpicks about it.
