Well my Mom found a lone Hauler at the Athens Walmart. So he’ll be here on Saturday. And we preordered Scourge on Hasbro Pulse. So that’ll be a nice late birthday gift. So at this point I put this out there, if anyone finds Clampdown I’d be willing to buy him off you. If your in Columbus I’m willing to meet up or pay to have you ship it to me from anywhere else in Ohio. I’d greatly appreciate it, he’s all I need to find now and I just want to be done with this nightmare.
I think that’s inevitable. It was already stocked deep at Strongsville and I can’t see a parent buying it for their kids at that price. Especially with similar sized figures on the peg for cheaper.
I honestly didn't mind the extra cost on Red Cog given all the extra bits he comes with. Yeah, you could not unreasonably argue that the likes of Centurion or whatever were better value for the money, but that was also a couple of years ago before the cost of everything (materials, manufacturing, shipping, etc.) all went up because pandemic and global economy issues.
There were two Scourge Speedia at Steelyard Walmart this morning. I lucked out and found a lone Burnout on the peg this morning. Leaving only Cosmos and Clampdown (who I do have pre-ordered). I have to wonder if store distribution will be better if Walmart is planning on using their stores as distro hubs for local shipping? Weird dynamic. Hit Seven Hills Meijer after work. I just ordered a Red Cog today from the Target website. FOMO, I guess? Ordering him is easier than running to a Target that has him. I asked a few weeks ago but I haven't seen many other mentions since then: Has anyone seen a Blitzwing recently? I have him preordered but I'm also impatient.
I've seen him at Walmart recently, in the Columbus area. I can't remember which specific store, but if you're in the vicinity, I'll keep an eye out while I'm looking for Cosmos.
It's a pretty aesthetically pleasing figure, it's just low priority for me. If I have a spare $30+ down the road, maybe; but I'm also quietly hoping I can snag Red Cog and that Goldbug and the Putzes Pack on clearance down the road.
I’d be amazed if the 4-pack with Goldbug doesn’t end up on fairly deep clearance. My local store has several sets and it seems like it’s plentiful in lots of places. I sort of want Goldbug, but that’s it.
Same. Missed out on Netflix 'Bee and I'm not willing to pay secondary market prices. Also not willing to drop money on the 4-pack at full price just to get Goldbug unless I knew I could flip the other three figures for sure.
Velocitron deluxes were finally put out in Circleville. They currently have at least one of everything, but Cosmos, Clampdown, and Override (2 Scourges, 2 of all the other deluxes, and one Road Hauler). That does, however, include Scourge. I did pick up the Cosmos and Clampdown, but left everything else as I have the ones I want on pre-order already. Since I drive around a lot, I'll continue to keep an eye out, but I'm no longer in the market for anything myself. How many more people are still looking for Cosmos around Columbus?
I have a spare Netfilx bee open but complete that I'd be willing to trade to you for a Velocitron Hauler if you can find one (he's my office bot, but I do have the weapons stored at home).
