Not really, smaller SAL stuff maybe, my MP40 has been MIA since the 9th from Japan but my larger SAL and EMS packages have pretty much arrived on time with the only delay time happening during custom inspection. I try to avoid ordering from China anyway, so I imagine that's probably even slower than normal.
Everyone staying home meant I was able to find all the wave 1 ER figures I wanted in like... a week or so? It's basically unheralded for the entire time I've been living in OH.
That's awesome! Not the reasons for why it worked that way, but awesome you found the stuff you were after. I'm just wishing Optimus Prime would show up near me...
Not that I've been out a ton these last couple of weeks but I'm usually hitting Meijer when I do head out for supplies and I've only seen him the once so far which was at the Delaware location and he left with me.
Man, I wish Meijer opened earlier than 8 right now... I'm in Englewood at 6 in the morning most days. Not going to sit in the parking lot for two hours...
Sugar Creek Walmart has one each of: Jet Shatter, Roadbuster, SS Leader Shockwave, and Scavenger. No Earthrise anything...
Englewood Meijer has an Earthrise Astrotrain, but no Prime... And yeah, the box looks like someone punted it onto the shelf...
Thats how my Astrotrain was when I found him at Xenia Walmarts. Lucky enough, Walmarts gave me a discount for the damage box and Astrotrain was is perfect condition.
My cousin picked me up an Earthrise Grapple and Optimus Prime at the Wadsworth Walmart. I didn't personally go to the store as I have NOT left my house for the last 35 days and even when my cousin dropped the bots off at my house I practiced the same level of safety as I have been since way before people actually started to realize and believe the truth. While I do agree with others regarding NOT spending money on toy robots INSTEAD of...well pretty much ANYTHING important right now such as food....water...medical supplies and what not. HOWEVER....I'm a disabled United States Marine. Through the grace of God I've survived three battles with cancer, suffered through three strokes and I been battling the fact that I've been a paraplegic....and all of the medical issues have been going on since early August of 2004. What I'm getting at is that I agree....toy robots aren't important compared to almost everything else going on right now. However...I want to set up some context that; for the last 42 years I've been reading and collecting weekly comic books. I love them. Hell, I learned to READ by looking at comic books and looking up any of the words that I didn't know in the dictionary. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic last week and for the foreseeable future there will NOT be ANY weekly comic books in physical or digital form. Of course, I still have my 40+ long boxes of older comics to read and reread....but because I don't have any weekly comics to buy now...it certainly makes the choice that I always wrestle with every month when I get my monthly disability check of... WHICH couple of robots I might be able to afford with my meager amount of "entertainment funds". I do feel that I am fairly well prepared for what is actually happening RIGHT NOW (because I have been gradually proactive in acquiring certain items here and there over the years).... but there are always a few things that I still could pick up for my "go bag" or just to have in case things become even WORSE than they are right now....and I am almost CERTAIN that things will become MUCH worse. My point in all of this is that I am gonna buy a robot if I can find one that I want online EXACTLY to distract myself, if for only a short time, from the downward spiral that's happening right now. But everybody... you're totally correct....in that we all need to reassess our spending and be a bit more practical...about everything not just our collecting. Stay strong, healthy and safe folks. Autobots....roll out.
Kroger Marketplace in Sugarcreek has 1st wave Earthrise deluxe toys (for 24.99 - blurgh) and some evergreen-style large Titan Hero toys for 9.99 each. (dunno if anyone is actually interested in them, but I had never seen them anywhere before, so it seemed worth mentioning.)
Well just watched Fwoosh and for those who is wondering about the two remaining Seeker: Skywarp and Thundercracker. Both will be sold as 2 pack exclusive to Target this summer!
Just noticed that g1 Astrotrain is on Walmart.com for $38 bucks. Is that news or did I just miss it before?
Inclined to say you missed it before, he's been around for what feels like a couple of months now if not longer.
He's been in and out of stock at around that price for a little bit. But nice to see him available again! He's well worth it!
Astrotrain is definitely not worth $50! $38 sounds better. Another example Prime without the Trailer and Roller wasn't worth $45 or $50 either!
In case anyone is still after a G1 Soundwave, Huber Heights Walmart had two on clearance for $30. They still had one after I left. The cassettes are all gone after being clearanced to $11.
