Once again, this is the link to tell you what you need to know.
    http://www.snapbag.com/~flux/tf/cybcon2k3.html

There shouldn't be any problems selling items here, just don't scalp. :)

I suggest that those interested to please join the CybCon mailing list as your questions will likely be answered my the Number 1 honcho himself. :)

Oh, one more thing. Don't ask about what the toy will be this year. We're working on something very special. And this won't leak to eBay either. ;)

I live in the car-theft capital of the USA - Tacoma, WA. I'm going on 31 years young. As for getting together, might I suggest CybCon as mentioned by mysef earlier.

Thanks to the bursitis in my right arm and the benign bone lesion in my right hip, I'm off an a paid medical leave of absence at least through mid-February. So, when I'm not goofed up on my meds, I'm out doing the toy runs or playing video games.

    a/s/l

    Well, I'll give my a/l anyway. ;-)
I'm Greg Gaub, some of you already know me. ;-)
I'm 31, and live in Auburn, WA, about halfway between Seattle and Tacoma. If you know where Federal Way is, Auburn is on the other side of I-5. :)
I'd love for everyone here to tell their friends who might be interested, online or otherwise, about the CybCon 2k3 gathering. If enough people show up this year, we can plan for it to be even bigger next year.
By all means, bring toys to sell and trade. We're not charging for tables or anything this year, so if it gets big, you'll want to take this free action while it lasts, 'cus it's not free for me and Richard, I'll tell you that. ;-)
I'm really hoping that cool next-gen console TF game is out by this summer, so we can all check it out on my PS2 that I'm bringing for gaming.
I was thinking Richard's suggestion of joining my mailing list wasn't the best idea, but in fact, it probably is. I don't want to start a separate list for the convention just yet, so until next yet, joining my CybCon group is the best way to go. Just be sure to pick "special announcements only" instead of "no mail/web only" so that you get my special announcements about the CybCon convention/gathering (whatever ;-).

It's nice to know there are more fans in the area. The hardest part is tracking you guys down. Did you know there's a Transformers-Tacoma yahoo group someone made a long time ago? It's dead as far as I can tell, since no one replies to my ocassional posts. But it would sure be cool if we could all work together to canvas the TF community to find all the fans in the area that might want to come, and make this a local convention to remember!

    Thanks, guys!
    -Greg

Alright! Now we're talking! A local Botcon is absolutely fantastic! I will definitely be there. I just need to know where to go to sign up on that list of yours Greg!? It is good to know that Jetfire continues to be showing up at Northgate. Lynnwood should be right behind then! Thanks Artiepants! I am surprised by all of the area's transfans' ages! I am 24 so I feel like the young kid in the group! I have this feeling when we get together, we are going to have the time of our lives! Definitely a great escape from everyday life. You two guys local to me, I sent you a pm so check it when you get a chance! WA transfans are the best!

Richard posted the link up top, but here it is again:
    http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cybcon/

Of course, I welcome all new members to join as normal list members and post/reply to messages that aren't about the convention. But if convention info is all you want from my list, then join in "special announcements only" mode.

    Thanks!
    -Greg

Wow! Thanks for the cybcon info... sounds like a good time! Anyone still having trouble finding the Adventure team? I'm definitely keeping my eye out for it... I'm really surprised I've only seen it the one time.

I've only seen the Adventure team twice, both at K-Marts.

I'm not really adding anything just yet. I still need to get a check(had to get books for college classes). Anywho, it's cool to see folks in the same area. I live in Bremerton, so I think a trip to Auburn would be reasonable. I also signed up for the list.

I signed up as well. Artie, have you checked your pm's lately? Congrats on receiving Megs and Smokey. I also received Megs about a week and a half ago. I ordered mine from Junkshop USA; from Hiro. It arrived faster than I had thought it would! Anyway, I agree with you Artie, holding a G1 megs for the first time is something I will remember forever...pretty weird, huh? :p

Sorry I was in cincinnati for work last 1/2 of last week and I'm on deadline now - i'll get caught up tonight or tomorrow :)

    cheers!

oh, and I scored the Adventure team @ the aurora Big K-mart - they only had one, and it was lying on a shelf with the blister half removed, but thanks to the thrice-accursed twistie ties, the characters were securely still in their plastic tray :)
