Well, I can tell that from the plethera of DOTM toy images being released and talked about that I get to go through yet another TF drought while the movie toys clog up the shelves. I think it is great that the movies are doing so well. But to have no other choice in TF's than just movie toys is a real let down. Ok, whining over.

That's why we have 3rd party companies and TT to help us out. Some of the generations and rts have been filed under dotm toy lines. We may yet get to see more of the figures, hopefully.

 

You guys can have all that DOTM crap....I think these 3rd party manufacturers will keep the rest of us busy with other cool stuff.   plus there's always Macross and Gokins bringin' pain to my wallet.

I did liberate my Warpath from his plastic prison. He's a great figure. Unfortunately, the spring for the missle launcher is misaligned, so the launcher doesn't work (it never worked). So, I decided to cut down the length of the missle to make the back end flush with the launcher instead.

 

Damn the QC.

 

Yeah...maybe one or two. But haven't seen much that I want. Shockwave, vector prime maybe.

Went back to Kent (240th) Fred Meyer and picked up Scout Hubcap and the Travelocity Gnome.

So... obviously all hope is lost in snagging Warpath in-store, so if anyone has an extra already unclaimed or a case on the way (not sure what the case assortment is), let me know.

Still need to meet Marine Tanker for the Scourge, I don't get a day off until Thursday, but I'll surely be making it to Edmonds on Saturday, so we can wheel and deal there. Have the Kabaya Starscream to buy from Randy too... on... his birthday.

Anyway. With all the talk all this time of Generations running alongside DotM, which I don't doubt was Hasbro's plan until all the retailers screwed that up, I really wasn't expecting another lull in buying this time around. But I'm kind of glad it's there. I still have several Henkei figures to buy to finish that up, and I have yet to pick up a single United figure so there's all of that too.

Off to finish up my liter can of Asahi and catch up on Kamen Rider OOO's and Gokaiger.
