As far as a meet-up goes (haven't checked my email just yet), everything sounds good unless it's on May 7th. I am loaded that day, and I'm not even sure yet if I even get the day off of work.

As my post-SakuraCon news goes, I picked up SHFiguarts Double CycloneJoker, Robot Damashii Bunta-kun (from Full Metal Panic), and a 1/144 HG GN Archer for some customizing.

Total weekend haul goes:

Best part of the weekend though was that there was considerably less of a BO stench going around the Convention Center. Probably the best smelling SakuraCon ever.

You could buy into their birthday package where it gave you 1 1/2 hours of playing, 10 drinks and a icecream cake. we bounced back and forth on it a bunch and felt is was just easier and better to spend money on the actual playtime, and let people worry about food and drink since not everyone will want to dine there.

To answer your question, I'm not sure.   I think you have to call ahead on the cake.

As of this post, all of the stores around me were "Out of Stock"... most likely, they're not in yet. I should point out that you can also pre-order from the website, saving a lot of time and gas should you wish to go that route. I ordered myself Sentinel, but will wait to see Bumblebee in a store before deciding to buy it.

 

Preorders for Animated Cheetor and G2-Style Universe Ramjet are up!!! I have purchased my set from the Transformers Collector's club site.
