I think it was an error from the factor. I saw the plastics strings and it was taped up. Weird! Lol!!!
Unlikely, more likely that someone peeled the tape, pushed the plastic ties through the holes, removed ratchet, then pushed the ties back through with clampdown underneath instead. Those plastic ties are very easy to remove without breaking if you know how to twist them right.
I seen this happen with Soundwave back when he came out and i tried to the employees but they where confused or just didnt care. Several years way back i found someone had put three old beast wars toys in a Transformers Alternator box. I mean animals dont even look like cars!
The West Tennessee Target in Tallahassee only has 3 Legacy Trashmasters and 1 Legacy Bludgeon. The only store i’ve seen have bludgeon so far, picked one up from the same target a few weeks ago. Smaller target so way less TF stock, but could be worth it for some
I went today and they were ALL gone. If anybody else spots them in the Orlando area let me know. It was the one thing I was looking to pick up from Ollie's.
Target on Palm Beach Lakes Blvd off the 95: 1x Bombshell 1x Shadow Striker 2x Bludgeon 3x Trashmaster 1x Armada Megatron This was last night, so no guarantees.
Kissimmee Ollie's has quite the selection of Transformers. There are vintage BW Primals and Megatrons, SS86 Starscreams, Velocitron Overrides, Buzzworthy Silverstreaks. Makes me think there's more collectors up in the north end of the Orlando area than the south end. No Beast Wars Monopoly, sadly. There are two of the Buzzworthy Trooper 4 packs at the Sodo Target in Orlando. If you haven't grabbed one, now would be the time unless you're waiting for clearance. After the 15% off sale, 25% off circle coupon, and the 5% from red card they come to $50. You might even have additional targetted coupons in the app too. The pack is definitely worth $13 a figure.
I'm in the market for a Velocitron Scourge. I'm looking for one for a friend, so if anyone can grab a spare from Ross, please message me!
I'm absolutely done for today, but I can divert to a nearby Ross tomorrow on the way to grocery shopping to look for a Scourge for you. --- Ross @ 4983 S Cleveland Ave (Page Field Commons, Fort Myers) and Ross @13300 S Cleveland Avenue & Cypress Lake (Cypress Trace Plaza, S Fort Myers) had the same stuff seen elsewhere: Vel Scourges, Buzz Kups & Origin Bees, Legacy beastie redecos (Buzzsaw, Nightprowler, Sandstorm), RotB energon ignitors, and an occasional Vel Road Hauler or crumpled box Crasher. No Arks. Did spot some of the individual Joes & Cobras (no 3pks), only recognized Tomax and Xamot but there were a few more, but I have no idea what folks are looking for. Target @ 13711 S Tamiami Tr & Daniels Pkwy (Market Square, S Fort Myers) was really picked-over from when I was there Thursday, but nothing new. Target @ 15880 San Carlos Blvd & Kelly Rd (Iona, near Fort Myers Beach) literally must have had the exact same stuff as when I was there October 23rd, it didn't look like anything had even been moved or touched, also nothing new. Are they waiting to run out the clock on the sale and Circle offers before putting new stuff out? GameStop @ 13711 S Tamiami Tr & Daniels Pkwy (Market Square, S Fort Myers) had no Transformers at all.
Target in Tarpon Bay Plaza in Naples: Pretty much the exact same stuff as last week. Ross in Tarpon Bay Plaza in Naples: 1x Legacy Skullgrin 1x Vintage BW Megatron 1x SS The Fallen 2x Buzzworthy Kup Velocitron Road Hauler Legacy Buzz Saw Target on Pine Ridge Rd in Naples: Again, pretty much the exact same as last week. I think you might be right.
I didn't get the chance to post these sightings yesterday, so they're a day late and who knows what's there now. Ross at Hillsboro & Powerline: Buzzsaw × 2 Nightprowler × 1 Skullgrin × 1 I couldn't believe there were no Scourges when there were 10 there a little less than a week ago. As for Target at Hillsboro & Powerline: The only new thing was an Earthspark warrior class Jawbreaker. Everything else was looking pretty barren, as can be seen in the photos.
Hi everyone - I'm trying to get a baseline, after going to about 15 Ross stores, and 4 Ollies, several times in the past couple months and finding very little. I'm in the Orlando area - Seminole & Orange counties. Has anyone actually stumbled upon: the retro Headmasters or the BW Monopoly? (Besides the Ollies that apparently sold out.) And if any of you are GIJoe collectors too - the Dusty/Zarana wave, the python BAT, the Tiger Force Duke, or the Viper 3-pack? I don't mean a store that currently has them; just that they ever *did* show up in Orlando, to begin with. As for actually trying to contribute: the Ross in Lake Mary, off Lake Emma Rd, has a couple Road Haulers, $8.99 each. Thank you!
I hit up the Kissimmee and the Casselberry Ollies and neither had Retro Headmasters or the BW Monopoly. I didn't mention in my Sunday post, but I did buy a single Retro Brainstorm at the Ollie's near the Florida Mall. It was sitting on top of a random stack of other toys. No signs of where he originated, so I think he was the last straggler. I have never seen a single Classified at a Ross, and I regularly hit up the ones at Goldenrod x University, East Colonial, and on 436 in Casselberry. There's a ton of collectors and resellers in Central Florida so I'm not surprised that many figures seem impossible to find. Some are chill and don't take everything, but I've run into more than one person that's just grabbed everything on the shelf. One time I even talked to an employee at a Target and apparently ACME has their employees hit up stores for exclusives or discounts to bring back. Last night I hit up Casselberry Ollies and they still had Velocitron Overrides and BW Vintage Primals. Nothing else of note. Casselberry Target had x5 Trooper Packs and nothing else of note. Casselberry Walmart looks the same as it has for the last month. Didn't stop into any Ross since it was nearly 9 p.m.
