Had a great time at TFcon! There were way more people in attendance than I anticipated. The Beast Wars VA panel was incredible to attend. And the artist alley! Man, lots of talent in the fandom. Mostly went bin diving for minicons but there was toooons of stuff from all eras in the dealer room. My highlight was getting to talk with Aaron Archer and having him do a sketch in his art book. Next time I gotta get a marker sketch from him on an instruction sheet.
Ross on Commercial Way in Spring Hill actually has some stuff. They have a Shatter Glass Flamewar, and a couple Velocitron Scourges. Those Scourges are $17, unbelievably cheap for leaders. Good figure, too. Well worth it if you don't have one.
St. Pete Ross at Tyrone spotted two Shadowstrips in the bin near the front. Park Street Ross two untouched Scourges in the front bins.
Yeah, welcome to my existence. I'm about as in the middle of nowhere in Central Florida as it gets. I'm just glad I have two Targets and three Walmarts relatively close to my house, so I can at least indulge my plastic addiction.
There's a Bombshell at the Waterford Lakes Target in Orlando. I nestled him behind the Nemesis Leo Primes. There's also a single Troop Builder left and the same Leader Dreadwing from before. Don't forget the 25% of toy coupon in Target circle!
TFCon was nice. I only went on Sunday around 10:30, but no issues finding parking. The SF Steeljaw sold out on Saturday per Ages Three and up and only had a small stock left on their site. Grabbed that, a Titans Return Galvatron and Energon Starscream G1 colors and called it a day. Kinda wild seeing all the “Ross-sighted” stuff there for 2-3x the amount…and people buying them. Went to 2 locations afterwards and saw Scourge.
Sureshot, nice! You got a lot of essentials there. I got sucked in by the Action Masters as well. I too had a chance to talk to Aaron Archer, super nice guy. I asked him why Hasbro never made a Botanica toy. He said that with BM, a lime still marketed for kids, it was already hard for them to connect with some of the toys that were harder for a kid to define, like Stryka (a box with wheels). Kids just needed to be able to point to a toy and say "Gorilla" or "Cheetah". Botanica would have been too far out.

FYI, I picked up a spare Velocitron Crasher today. Today's box was a bit crumpled, but Crasher looks fine. If anyone wants her, you can have today's crumpled unopened box Crasher -or- you can have my first unopened Crasher with the good box. I don't care about the box; I'm going to take her out and play with her. I'd prefer to trade her for a Shattered Glass Flamewar (long shot, I know) and extra cash from me. I'll also even-trade her for 1) Legacy Knock-Out, b) Cyberverse Clobber, or π) for any of the Retro Headmasters except Chromedome or Mindwipe (I already have two of each). If I can't find a trade, I'll sell her for my cost ($7.99 + 6.5% tax + USPS shipping). Edit: I'd also consider trading for the lilac/blue Seeker from the Buzzworthy Troop Builder set. 10/24 Edit: Crasher is now spoken for.
Stopped by the Citi Trends on Palm Beach Blvd in Ft. Myers on the way back from TFCon (which was great btw). Was hoping for a $15 Metalhawk, but all they had were 2x Legacy Jhiaxus and 1x Legacy Soundwave for $15 each.
Afraid not, at least not when I checked those two Rosses yesterday. I think the only Velocitrons still showing up here are Scourges and a few deluxes in crumpled or crushed boxes (which I'd guess are being left behind by the eBay resellers). But if I spot another Shadowstrip, I'll keep you in mind.
I don’t post here often but thanks to all the help I have found LOTS of Transformers thru Ross and Ollie’s. During Tfcon I was able to find the Palisades Megatron statue I have been searching for almost 13 years. But today was the shocker… I went to Ross in East Colonial Dr. saw the front they had nothing, but on the back the poor lady was working hard setting up the holiday tables and organizing the toy isle… then there it was on the floor… The Ark… for $59.99. I just grabbed it and went directly to the register. So there you have it Even the Ark is out. Happy Hunting.
