    Japanese Transformers Sightings **Image Intensive**

Looked through the Transformers Sightings boards, and didn't see a 'Japan' thread. Wouldn't let me start one, either. I recommend a Mod create one... cuz I'm going to be in Japan for 3 years. >)

Anywho, the wife and I just got back from the Toys 'R' Us in Kawasaki/Yokohama, so...

    PICTURE TIME

Just to note, they also have Revoltech Megatron, Starscream, and Rodimus. Didn't see Prime, but I'm sure if I dig I'll find him. They aren't terribly new, however, so didn't think much of taking pictures of them. Oh, and they've also got the iPod Convoy trailer/docking station in stock. Forgot to snap a pic of that. Oh well. On with the pictures.

Isn't taking a photo inside a store considered really offensive in Japan?

Possibly. I have been thwarted everytime I have tried it.

Last attempt was to take some pictures of some really ancient arcade units in Akihabara.

    Slap. No Pictures.

    I'm back!

The wife and I spent the weekend in Yokohama celebrating our wedding Anniversary, but before any of that could begin we made a quick pit stop at the TRU along the way and I was delighted to find a few new selections on the shelves. :>

    BT-22 is in stock!

Henkei Sideswipe, Silverstreak, Grimlock, and Octane are now on the racks!

Oddly enough, a commemorative (I suppose) Rhinox has turned up.

    And here's a new one for TF2. :>

Let me know if you guys see anything you'd like to pick up. Encore Sky Lynx, Omega Supreme, and Metroplex are still on the shelves, as well as some earlier Henkei's (Megatron, Prime, Ramjet), the G1 Reissue combo of T-Cracker and Skywarp... You get the idea.

    PEACE

MP Thundercracker is out and about in Tokyo: ¥10,500 at Kiddyland in Harajuku, ¥8999 at TRU in Ikebukuro, ¥8400 at Yodobashi in Akihabara, and ¥8380 at Bic Camera in Shinjuku. Plenty available at each store.

Also, Bic has BT Arcee marked down to ¥2980, Yodobashi has Henkei Ramjet at ¥1680 (they had a ton of him), and TRU Ikebukuro has one Encore Megatron with a roughed-up (but sealed) box for ¥3000.

I've been down at the Moritown TRU and it's stocked with beastwars, Sky Lynx, Voyager Megatron for only 1000 yen which is a really good deal, henkei hound, cheetor, galvatron, and starscream, Masterpiece starscream for 8999 yen, and a few of the 2007 movie deluxes such as Arcee and swindle for 1599 yen.

I received E-Hobby's Black Megatron and Sunstorm reissues today, so if you've got yourself one or both of them ordered, be on the look out! They've finally made land fall.

I just received my Henkei Thrust from Ganbo Toy Store this morning. For anyone else that has one on order, you should be expecting its arrival /very/ shortly.

    Cheers!
