I am looking for a Takara Windblade, I know they are very rare but I figured since I'm in Japan it's worth a shot. I have looked all around Tokyo, various stores in Akihabara (though not sure if they were the "right" ones), and Nakano Broadway. Pretty much the only stores that sell a decent collection is Mandarake, but their prices are pretty big markups.

I'll be going to Yokohama on Monday but I doubt the Toys R Us will have it.

It might not help, but there are two TRU's around Yokohama. One is near the Landmark tower, and one is on the main road between Yokohama and Yokosuka.

I found a Legends Arcee amd Chromia at Nakano Broadwat Mandarake, as well as Legends Arcee at Mandarake Akihabara.
The 4 Toys R Us I went to all had a ton of Black Knight Optimus and Legends Optimus Primal. There seemed to be plenty of the TRU exclusives.
I have now moved to Nagoya, so Ill let everyone know what I find at the TRU in Yagato and the Mandarake in Osu

Yo, been a while since I've been here. So...is there any stores in Narita Airport that have transformers, sentai and or Gundam models? Greatly appreciated.

Hello! My brother-in-law is going to Tokyo next month. Now, I know you guys have answered this question more than once, but it's been a long time and I don't know whether things have changed:

In which stores would he find MP Ironhide?

    Thanks to whoever answers.

I just got back from a Tokyo/Osaka trip.

Radio Kaikan in Akihabara has many toy stores located throughout its 10 floors.

The above store has current MPs for sale - Road Rage, Tracks, Ironhide.

If no luck there, I'd suggest checking out the toy floors in the following electronics stores - LABI (Yamada Denki), Yodobashi Camera and Bic Camera. You can find at least one of each in every major hub in Tokyo and you can spot them a mile away from the street.

I just realised the International Tokyo Toy Show is happening while I'm there next month. Any Japanese friend here can tell me what to expect?

    Heya.

I'm going to japan at the end of august and I was wondering what would be the best places to hunt some transforming toys?

I'll be in Tokyo for a few days and then move to Kyoto later on.

I don't mind if its mp's, movie bots or even 3rd party, just name some places with a good selection.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Today's sightings of a few recent years' TFs at Nakano Broadway. Let me say that I'm out of the loop since just before the Bay Dinobots movie of what's new/hot/and what's been able to be purchased in the U.S. I had heard of the Fort Max. The Titans and United bots look pretty cool.

Anyone know anywhere good to shop in Akihabara?

Note: Thanks, TFW2005, for letting me upload photos directly instead of the old way of hunting down some random site that allows mult shots in one go and all the CLICKS. THE CLICKS, MANNNNN.

Hey all, I'm in Kyoto for a few more days. Does anyone know any shops that sell second hand robots? I mostly found the transformers I wanted so I'm looking for Shikalion Hayabusa at a reduced price and Drive Head figures. Also any official Korean or Chinese robots like Tobot or Space Deleter. (Egg Star Chivalry especially).

They're not in Japan. The recent ones are being released in the USA. If you want the minibots in Japan, can you're going to have to look in shops like "madarake" in Nakano it Akihabara and pay secondary market prices for the older re-releases or G1 versions.

If you are in Nakano on the 3rd/4th of August, 2018, my Mexican-American friend has a taco stall at some sort of festival (I think). I'm going on the 4th (I hope).

Sorry for the late reply. If you're still in Tokyo, or plan on coming back:

Hiroshima Bic Camera: Plenty of Siege Shocks and Megatrons and whatever that Mad Max looking '70s car is and the regular shelfwarmers.

Since it's been a year since anyone posted here and this thread is like a time capsule, I'll put a link to the Siege checklist in case anyone in the future stumbles in here and needs to pick up where we left off.
