^^^ not 'true' blind-packed after all! Upon further inspection of the packages, I noticed a little clear window on the back. Easy to see which is in there just by moving it around until you can see some identifying part.

    $99 each at Carrefour.

Try the WanNian building in Ximending, the Underground Mall at Taipei Main Station and DaMing. You should be able to find everything you're looking for at those places.

Thanks for the reply. It seems this forum not too active.
I've already contacted Da Ming, and I'm glad they can reply in english.
I think I'll go visit them this June.

    Ebay:
Da Ming and other toy shops in the Taipei underground mall are now stocking wave 3 of CW. Defensor, Quickslinger, Brake Neck, Magnus, and Thundercracker are all there. Mags and Cracker are a bit overpriced. The Defensor set was around 100 usd and Qsling and Bneck were around 18 each. Happy hunting!

^I got my Defensor for NT$2700 (all 5), and Wildrider [Brake-Neck] & Slingshot [Quickslinger] for 520ea. Magnus is still a bit overpriced at 1700.

    Spotted today at DaMing:

Devastator at 地下街 (Dixiajie) now too.
Also saw this cool little Toys R Us legends Optimus... but not $880 worth of cool.
    And RID deployers waves 1 & 2
    And a couple of Hero-Mashers I don't think I've seen before.

Hi everyone! I'm from the USA and will be in Taiwan for the first 2 weeks of October. Just wanted to know how easy it is to find the Transformers Q figures in Taiwan? Can I just simply go to Toys R Us and find them or do I have to go to a collector shop? Thanks!

Underground Mall at Taipei Main Station and the shops around the Y13 exit or DaMing would probably be your best bet.

    Hey guys,

I'm popping over to Taipei soon from Hong Kong.
Is it worth me looking at Transformers there or are they around the same price/more expensive than Hong Kong?
Can you refer me to a good guide on stores/malls worth a visit in Taipei?

Like Rob says above, you can check out the shops in the Y section (Y區) of the Underground Mall (地下街) at Taipei Main Station (台北車站). And the shops up the street if you go out the Y13 exit. There are 3 shops there with TFs -- 1. 東東玩具百貨 located at No.54, Taiyuan Rd. Datong district, Taipei (台北市, 大同區, 太原路, 54號)
    2. 101 Toy Kingdom (101玩具王國) located at No.121 Chang'an West Rd., Datong district, Taipei (台北市, 大同區, 長安西路, 121號)
    3. 芃芃精品玩具批發 located at No.100, Taiyuan Rd. Datong district, Taipei (台北市, 大同區, 太原路, 100號)

And there's a 4th shop right there with with lots of KO stuff. Some on the 1st floor, but most upstairs on the 2nd floor. Go in toward the back and up the little dodgy looking stairs (you'll probably feel like you're not supposed to go up the stairs, but just do it anyway -- really the place is for buying in bulk, but they always let me go up and look around, probably because I'm white and the first few times they didn't dare speak to me to tell me that the upstairs is not for 'regular shopping'. I have seen them stop Asian Taiwanese people from going up there. 尚圓玩具百貨商行 (pretty much just across the street from #3 listed above) located at No.129, Taiyuan Rd. Datong district, Taipei (台北市, 大同區, 太原路, 129號)

A decent shop, and my main go-to place is DaMing (大明, but also called HeChuan 合川) in ZhongHe district (中和區).

There's always ToysRus (玩具反斗城), but I imagine it'll be the same as what you see in Hong Kong. The biggest one is at No.28, section 2, Xinsheng North Rd., Zhongshan district, Taipei (台北市, 中山區, 新生北路二段, 28號)

And most big shopping malls will have a Toy World (DingMei Wanju 鼎美玩具). There's a big one at XinYi (near the 101 building) in building A8, on the 5th floor (信義新天地 A8 5F). Most, if not all, Mitsukoshi shopping malls (新光三越) will have one. Here's a list of addresses: SKMå“￾牌æ￾œå°‹

Thanks for all the advice Prime Roller.
I checked out almost everywhere on that list except DaMing.

I have to say I was kind of shocked by how limited and in several cases OLD the Transformers range is there. However even though the Transformers toys weren't latest release, that huge Toys R Us was well worth a visit... if nothing more to reminisce what a real toy store should look like.
Also scored a 1/2 price Optimus for my son in Toy World (along with some freebies - an OP notebook, some RID2015 plastic bags and some RID/Hasbro carry bags) so not a complete waste.
Certainly a MUCH different scene from Hong Kong which was a huge shock as I expected it to be similar or ahead in terms or releases... not behind.

    Thanks once again!
