I stay tuned to the yahoo auctions which are in Chinese but a goldmine for transformers. I just got Armada Screamer & Cracker for a combined price of US$22 & Armada Blurr, Thrust & Sideways for US$18 combined MISB. Also got 10th anniversary bw primal/megs 2 pack for US$20 MISB.

Currently on auction are Henkei Rodimus plus tonnes of beast wars, gf, armada, energon & vintage including g1 predacons & fortress Maximus.

 

Been there & back.   4 days from 28th till 31st.

However, I might visit again in another couple more months when there's another promotion for air tickets.

CTMA, Sino & Richmond are cool places to hang out except for the fact that Henkeis are sorely missing from those areas. I did bought some pieces but I found 'em ONLY when we travelled further away from all populated areas.

The food (Tim Sum, Wanton noodles, "Yu Dan", Pork Burger etc.) was fabulous beyond words!     That alone got me hooked up for another visit.

Which had me wondering why I don't really see fat/obese people in HK. You can find TONS of ME from where I hail.

I can use some of that information (Henkeis motherload) from ya the next time I hit HK again. Probably in a couple more months or so. The wifey wanted to pop over to Taiwan but I managed to "convinced" her to re-tour HK again by telling her that Taiwan's been hit by 2 earthquakes within a year!  

You know how women gets scared easily.    

But I'll have to buy her a ticket to finish up Disneyland because we couldn't accomplish that feat the last time round.  

I'll keep ya informed again & hopefully we can explore this haven together, just you & me.

Nice haul their Automorpher. Especially JRX/Rail Racer, RID Galvatron and Energon Scorponok. How much did you get those for and where'd you go for 'em?

Taiwan is a great place to go to btw but certainly not the toy haven that HK is. And yes my wife and shopping are like bread and butter. So we can push the ladies off somewhere whilst we endeavor to locate hidden Cybertronian gems.

A recent auction site over here posted just about every Henkei Classics/Universe ever together all MISB for around US$400. Good deal?

 

Gotten those pieces from Richmond Centre.  

Not exactly cheap though, I paid market rate (HKD $1,700) for Superlink Mega Zarak, Car Robots 2K JRX & Devil Gigatron & none of 'em are sealed.  

Still, can't complain much since another shop at CTMA actually quoted me HKD $700 for Mega Zarak alone! Now that is awesomely frightening!  

TFs in Taiwan?? Forget it man.  

About 6 months back I was in Taipei for 5 days, must have visited almost 30 toy shops & only 5 of those carry TFs.  

I hope I'd read this correctly but did you mean USD $400 for the whole line of TFs Classics AND Henkei??    

Or USD $400 for Classics OR Henkeis?  

 

HK$1,700 is good for that lot. Most of those items aren't produced new anymore so as long as the figures are in good condition it's decent.

And YES USD$400 for henkei versions of all Universe and Classics figures except perhaps US exclusives. So we're talking about:

Prime, Megs, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jetfire, Mirage, Bumblebee, Dinobot, Astrotrain and so on.

All MISB.

 

any new loose TF animated deluxe figures appear at mongkok yet ?

 

Not too sure about loose TFA. But I pay attention to Yahoo Auctions in HK which is a goldmine of activity for TF's.

 

Just to update y'all on HK sightings.

I just got myself a NEST Bludgeon aswell as a MISB Galaxy Force Wing Saber and MISB Energon Landmine. Landmine was around US$20, Wing Saber was around US$50.

 

Any sightings of Alternity Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Henkei Ghost Starscream anywhere in HK?
Also where did you find Bludgeon unicronic? Thanks for any help!

 

Alternity 'Bee/Cliff yup plenty over here. Between HK$300 & $400. Not seen Henkei Ghost yet but will look for him.

Bludgeon was from the local Yahoo Auctions. Boxed and everything, a most impressive figure.

Hi there. Sure look me up when you arrive. G1 is probably better found via local auctions whilst Henkei is still plentiful if you know where to go.

Lockdown, if I need him in March I'll take him off your hands. I'm ideally looking for regular and Blazing Lockdown so that I can customise into one show accurate figure.
