Can I be rude and ask how much they hit you with for shipping? (that way I can work out if it IS worth it, especially as I need 2)
I've ordered something off them on pre-order recently and the shipping was over US$10 which I'm struggling to understand for a local delivery...

 

I got through RK directly (email).

Their online interface really isn't designed for local orders.

Rounded up it is HKD$1135.

For me, the travel costs (outlying islands) and the inflated price (MP-10 is a holy grail for Transformers) if I missed out on him made whatever shipping costs well worth it.

 

For MP-10 is basically a question of how badly you want him and how much you're willing to shop around.

I recently started with MP collecting so knowing how much he went for on eBAY et al I know that RK's price even with shipping is a peace of mind price.

Having never owned him before I now know what everyone raves about him.

 

Yeah - I really want him so it's a treat knowing I have to chance to acquire him given how rare/pricy the previous releases are. I just need to shop around so hubby doesn't go too ballistic about the $$ I spend on him.

I have YOTH Optimus - which is possibly one of my absolute faves (even with the gold chrome), and I have the good quality K.O MP-10 (got him on Taobao for RMB$400) and they are both fabulous figures, so I really want the real MP-10 to add to my collection.

Actually - I'd love to get all the MP-10 derivatives (tried to get the BAPE one but the CWB store had sold out by the time I got there) but I know that ain't gunna happen unless I win Mark Six!  

 

If you have YOTH then probably don't worry about it too much.

I didn't have any MP Prime until this weekend.

I've got Wheeljack which I really like. I may go after Streak and Smokescreen because of the different heads.

 

I want G1 colours, which is why I want this MP-10 so bad. Will just be the jewel in the crown for me.

I'm a G1 girl... what can I say.  

I do like the look of the MP cars but I just can't justify the expense to collect them all which is why I try and stick to Optimus stuff, although I'm also a sucker for Ironhide...

I'm a G1 person too (but not irrationally).

I just don't like Megatron as a gun, seems far too outdated and doesn't make sense that he would transform and need to be held to be useful. Tank please.

 

For historical reasons I don't mind gun Megs but like you I prefer the idea of him being a tank. Not a fan of him as a Cybertronian jet.

Glad I don't collect him as he would cause real headaches if we ever move back to Oz.

 

Still waiting for Arcee and Chromia. They're in Taiwan and are due here late October. This week that means, if you see em let us know.

Voyager Brainstorm won't be far behind.

 

Unfortunately too busy to make it to the stores this week.   Will be looking for them too myself... Although they'll probably be gone or obtusively expensive by next week.

 

Just order online if possible. Lots of HK e-tailers.

Just got the ladies and Lockdown.

 

Wish I wasn't out on Park Island all weekend... hope there are some left on Monday afternoon.

Lockdown was just over HK$100 so a snap. His price has come way down.

A decent figure but just don't get hung up on the movie likeness.

The fembots are great too. Good weapons and go nicely with Windblade.

Will be going in december, is there a centralized area that deals with transformers, 3P, 1/6, saint seiya stuff and manga?

 

Not sure about all of those under one roof.

MAYBE you could try Toyworld in Taikoo Shing but not sure.

3P stuff is only carried by certain stores. My best tips are check the HK based online shops like RobotKingdom and Chimungmung first also check Yahoo auctions HK ahead of time for what is available and going prices.

Worst comes to worst just order online and get a delivery to you apartment/hotel room for killing of convenience.
