Metroplex and Constructbots are on HK shelves on August 1st (some places have them already).

 

Why is it that HK toy stores open so late? Last time I was there, some did not open until 6 or 8 pm. I will likely come back through there this year.

 

This week and next sees the release of Generations IDW Deluxes (tomorrow) and Voyagers (next Monday). It's the Skids, Waspinator etc dlx wave followed by the Rhinox vygr wave.

Construct-Bots Predaking is out in HK as a TRU exclusive for $400! (a lot more than the similar sized Triplechangers)
They are supposed to have a metal carry case as a freebie item, if you spend more than $400 on Construct-Bots, but the Ocean Terminal store didn't have them yet.
They did have the freebie Kreo base plate (with a $200 Kreo purchase) and the freebie Beast Hunters comic (with any TFs purchase)... which I got both.

 

Just a couple pics of the freebie offers at HK TRU... in case anyone here can take advantage of them. The purchasing requirements are detailed in the post above.

The interior of the comic features the Beast Hunters toys, not the cartoon... which I'd never even knew existed (I couldn't find any mention of it here, or on tfwiki. It's done by IDW, so there should hopefully be an English version somewhere.


I don't want to scan up the entire thing, due to it being a current (licensed) item, which may well be a promo item in other countries. But if it never sees a release outside of HK, or no one else from HK posts up scans within a few months, I might... just to share the original BH comic story.

 

Are there any used JDM parts shops near Mong Kok? I don't want to take a bus all the way up north HK if I don't have to.

Spare parts. I know of a few places that sell used car parts but I won't be able to travel far from where I am staying so I was hoping there were so e near Mong Kok.

Parts for my Toyota st185 gtfour. If I ran across some mint oem floor mats, or a decent high rated clutch for the 3sgte I might bring them back home with me. Might look into some rear SSIII spats to modify to make a rear lip.

Best thing to do is order from somewhere like Robot Kingdom or Chimungmung (both are in HK) and get it delivered to your location (shipping will be dirt cheap)

 

Hi bros - Could you please share the retail price of the Hasbro MP Acid Storm and Hasbro MP Soundwave in Hong Kong at the moment? And are they available in the normal toy stores?

Toys R Us have Soundwave and Acid Storm for HK$1400 and HK$799 respectively last time I checked.

Are there still Transformers Prime figures on the shelf? Need to find First Edition Bumblebee, Starscream and Soundwave.

 

They are in Toys R Us and other places at srp but are getting harder to find.

 

On Friday Generations Deluxe next wave is available, the one with Armada Starscream.
