Toys"R"Us apparently got solid cases of nothing but Titans Return Perceptor in. The store in downtown Essen had at least six of them as of yesterday.

 

Can anyone tell me quickly what are the best stores to buy Transformers in Köln?

My father is there for the weekend.

As close to the cathedral if possible, since he doesn't have means/patience to travel very far just for toys.

He already found the Lego shop so if there are any shops nearby that have a good selection, please let me know.

Uhm. There's a Toys"R"Us in Holweide and another one in Lindenthal, but both are very far away from the cathedral. There's also a Müller drug store in Kalk, but that's on the other side of the Rhine. Other than that, I'm note sure what stores in Cologne might carry anything even remotely of interest to you at the moment.

Spielzeugparadies Wagner in downtown Bochum has the "Bee Vision" mask.


Toys"R"Us inside the Ruhr Park shopping mall in Bochum doesn't have the "Bee Vision" mask, but they do have the voice changer masks, the "Bumblebee Stinger Blaster" and the full range of Energon Igniters: Speed Series, Power Series, Power Plus Series and Nitro Series. Wave 1 of the "Studio Series" Deluxes and Voyagers is also available.


Toys"R"Us in Dortmund-Oespel doesn't have any "Bumblebee" movie toys yet, but they do have wave 2 of the "Power of the Primes" Deluxes (at least Sludge, Snarl and Rippersnapper, unfortunately no Blackwing) as well as wave 1 of the "Studio Series" Deluxes, Voyagers and at least Leader Grimlock.


Müller in downtown Dortmund has the "Robots in Disguise" Crash Combiners Saberhorn and Bisk. I also helped an elderly couple that was looking for Cyberverse Bumblebee (presumably for their grandson), with a morinic store clerk trying to sell them that electronic "The Last Knight" Bumblebee figure by Simba-Dickie with total determination ("this is the only one we have in yellow, trust me, and the name also matches!"), and as soon as he was out of earshot, I told them to try Toys"R"Us instead.

 

Studio Series Jazz and Lockdown available from Amazon, Toys"R"Us and Eurotoys. Amazon is cheaper, a third party seller at Amazon is even cheaper for Jazz at the moment.

Wave 3 Bumblebee (Volkswagen Beetle) in stock at Amazon. The photos are incorrect and depict wave 1 Bumblebee (1977 Camaro). I reported the wrong images to Amazon several times to no avail, but I ordered it and I can confirm that it is indeed the wave 3 figure.

Ironhide is also available from Amazon and Eurotoys. Amazon is cheaper, but the images once again depict the wrong figure (The Last Knight Voyager Optimus Prime). If Bumblebee is any indication, you will still get Ironhide if you order him from there.

I found two Elita One-figures in the Müller-store in Frankfurt (Nordwestzentrum). As I haven‘t seen a single one in the „wild“ until now, I had to pick her up.

 

No sign of Hun-Gurrr?

Toys"R"Us in Essen has the Energon Igniters (Speed, Power Plus and Nitro Series) plus DJ Bumblebee, the Bumblebee Stinger Blaster, the voice changer masks and, hot off the truck (possibly as a worldwide first release), Series 4 of the Movie Edition Tiny Turbo Changers. However, that means we skipped Series 3 (at least for the time being).

 

Sadly no. My girlfriend reminded me to check the lane behind Elita-1 and the Galavatron-figures but there were only two of each of those figures and no sign of Hun-Gurr.

Toys"R"Us in Duisburg-Meiderich had the usual Bumblebee movie stuff, plus Studio Series Deluxe Jazz and Lockdown, although only Jazz is hanging on the peg, while most of the Deluxes are lying in the "overstock" area on top of the shelf.

 

Müller in Hilden had Power Charge Bumblebee, Power of the Primes Prime Master Alchemist Prime, Deluxe Snarl and Rippersnapper, two Voyager Hun-Gurrrs, plus the Robots in Disguise Combiner Force Crash Combiner Optimus Prime and Grimlock, Cyberverse Ultra wave 1 and various Energon Igniters.


Müller in Wuppertal-Elberfeld had Power of the Primes Deluxe Moonracer and Snarl, Voyager Elita-1 and Hun-Gurrr, plus two Prime Master Alpha Trions and various Energon Igniters.


Müller in Wuppertal-Barmen had Power of the Primes Voyager Elita-1 and Hun-Gurrr, Power Charge Bumblebee and various Energon Igniters.


For the sake of completeness: Toys"R"Us in Wuppertal-Elberfeld had various Energon Igniters, the by now widespread Titans Return wave 3 and 4 Voyagers (Optimus Prime, Megatron and Broadside) plus wave 2 of the Power of the Primes Legends, but only wave 1 of the Deluxes, Voyagers and Prime Masters.

 

Galeria Kaufhof in downtown Münster has Series 4 of the Tiny Turbo Changers, various Bumblebee movie toys plus, a new release for Germany, wave 1 of the Cyberverse Scout Class figures. It's not like anyone had been missing those...


Meanwhile, Rofu Kinderland in Münster-Mecklenbeck already has wave 2 of the Energon Igniters Power Plus Series from the Bumblebee movie line with Shatter.
