This will be hand out session for this format as the time line is super short. We will just be catching up and hanging out for a bite to eat. All are welcome. 3-2-1- blast off the landing spot for this event will be the The Union Station Brewery in Providence R.I. Let's meet near the entrance into the mall from the convention Center. Display Bots are not necessary as this is not a 100% secure location. This is more or a light meet and greet. All are welcome and the end time depends on how much fun we are having. I was in Target of South Portland about an hour ago; they had one case of RID Twinferno wave. So, good luck! I also saw same in the Target of Biddeford on either Tuesday or Wed (I forget), didn't report 'cos I bought the Twinferno there and didn't think anyone cares about the rest, which are all repacks ...
Hi everyone! Thought I'd pop in to introduce myself. I'm not new to Maine, but I've never lived here before. I grew up in NJ, spent almost 10 years in Texas, and have finally found myself here. My parents grew up here, and I have a whole ton of family, so when it came to make a change in life, I decided that Maine would be a great place. I'm currently living in the Portland area, but I have a girlfriend in Sanford, and I spend about 90% of my time there nowadays. Anyways, just to be on topic, I stopped at the Biddeford Walmart tonight. Lots of Squeeks and Drifts and Slugs for the Deluxes. One Cosmos. I didn't really pay attention to the RiD stuff. For Voyagers, there were two Nitro Zeuses, a couple Grimlocks, and a couple Scorns. Leader Primes and Megatrons. I'm still looking for the new Bumblebee figure, haven't had any luck. I'm glad to see that Mumble-bee is a hunter in the area. Perhaps we'll bump into each other some time!
The Walmart in Brunswick/Cooks Corners still has 1 Voyager-scale Movie Prime, if anyone out there still needs one. (I hadn't seen one in months.) they also have the shipper with Movie Deluxe wave .. uh, 2? Sqweeks, Slug, Drift, Steelbane. Scarborough store also has that shipper as of last week, I forgot to post.
I'm in the Scarbourough Walmart right now. There's at least 5 each of Slugslinger and Sgt Kup on the pegs. I guess Hot Rod was also in the case. Also, 2 of Six Shot, if haven't got yet. Now if I could only find Twin Twist and Ramhorn.
Power of the Primes Legends scale wave one -- Windcharger, Beachcomber, Slash, and Insecticon repack (Skrapnel? i forgot) Saw them in Walmart stocking stuffer bins in Biddeford (by the toy aisles) and Scarborough (straight ahead from the Home & Living entrance). Scarborough store also has assorted Lego polybags in same area, including the previously rare Guardians Milano.
Auburn Walmart has been a trickle of POTP figures. I’ve seen Jazz, Dreadwind, Slash, Shrapnel, Grimlock and Starscream. Snagged Slash and Grimlock today. I have a reliable source who tells me they should be getting more in soon. I’ll keep you posted.
I was in the Falmouth Walmart a couple days ago, which had wave 1 Legends, Deluxe, Voyager and Leaders. Did not see Masters. (I haven't seen any of the Masters yet.) Visited Scarborough WM yesterday but I didn't make a mental note of what was there; however, the aisle has been reset and TFs are now on the opposite side of where they used to be. I did notice the Titans Return Voyagers that had been lingering for weeks are now gone. I keep forgetting to post that the Biddeford Target had 6-8 of Titans Return Voyager Octane in the clearance aisle for half-off. That was at least a week ago, sorry if they're gone by now.
Got Evolution Optimus Prime at the Auburn WM Wednesday. Check Target and K-Mart for the Prime Masters figs; I got Skullgrin and Clouburst at the Auburn K-Mart.
Got Snarl and Sludge at the Augusta Target earlier today. They also had Blackwing and Rippersnapper for Deluxes. Volcanicus is now complete!
Target of South Portland as of about 3pm today has 1 each of Moonracer & Rippersnapper. Target of Topsham as of about 5pm has 2 ea of Sludge & Snarl. Plus one of Jazz (I don't want) and 1 or 2 (I forget) of Dreadwind (I already have) I didn't get any because I want to take advantage of the "$10 off spending $50 on toys" coupon, which equals 3 Deluxes (3 x 17 = 51), so I need to find 3 deluxe I want at the same store ...
Auburn Walmart has the first wave of “Studio Series” in as of tonight. I picked up Ratchet. They’re going for $20 each. I also saw a bunch of Hun-Grrs and Elita Ones. No POTP deludes or new Prime Masters.
Walmart of Brunswick/Cooks Corner had Studio Series Bumblebee & Stinger (2 of) earlier today. That store and the Walmart of Biddeford have yellow clearance signage saying "Transformers P W Prime" at $30.00; this is for the Leader class, and I got Rodimus Unicronus at that price. I haven't made it to any other stores to see if they're also clearancing them. Sad for me, as I haven't seen the Wave 1 leaders since January, and now may never find them.
Wow, I should really check back here more often. I tried checking the South Portland TRU hoping they’d put backstock inventory out on the pegs, but no luck. Just some prime masters. I guess I need to get back to hitting up target and Walmart!
If on the off chance anyone still needs them, Slug and Swoop are sitting on the shelf at the Walgreens in Scarborough, as of 5pm Friday. If on the off chance anyone is still in need of anything from Robots in Disguise wave 11 with Twinferno, that's at the Scarborough Walmart. apparently freshly opened. Why is this still shipping? (Still no sign of Bludgeon/Thermidor anywhere I've been. grr.) Also the Biddeford Walmart restocked the Studio series, a full case was on the shelf.
