The concept of Orion being Megatron's friend/student/partner was cool.

Honestly, Megatron calling Optimus Orion all the time would have been a simple way to reference that ex-friendship and get under Optimus' skidplates.

Honestly? Some of the best voice work in the series (right along side with Animated and Beast Wars ((opinion alert, calm your circuits))), and Knock Out.

Seriously, I could go on about the voice work in this series...

Badass Arcee who avoids the usual feminine character cliches of being nurturing, motherly, medical or a sniper.

Knock Out. Obviously.

Blumscream. I love Steve Blums work and Starscream is one of his best.

Unicron as the earths core.

Blue Arcee.
Proof G1 Megatrons voice could be frightning.
A cool new Soundwave.

Proof that Humans could be usefull.

 

Did a quick skimming. I'm surprised from what I saw nobody mentioned my favorite aspect of Transformers Prime.

3 words: Optimus Prime fanboy XD

Smokescreen rocks. I know many were annoyed by him but I thoroughly enjoyed the character, enough to make me buy the TF Prime Deluxe Smokescreen *shudders*

 

Got to agree i liked Smokescreen to.
I am just fed up of Optimus yeah i love him but im suffering from Primefatigue he needs a rest in my opinion. i loved him in this show he was not over powered and then he went "Prime 2.0" and i was lost fights wern't fun he was pretty much unbeatable after that and the rest of the team were almost rendered near obsolite in my opinion.
don't get me wrong i am no Prime basher i love the guy and the early prime in this show was the best.

 

Hmmm.... For me.

-Dark Energon. A nice concept.

-Different awesome takes on characters such as Arcee, Ratchet, Smokescreen, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave and Shockwave.

-The concept of dragon Predacons.

-Insecticon design.

-Characters like Knock Out and Dreadwing. They were decent for me.

EDIT: To summarize what I like most about Prime is concepts. CONCEPTS!

 

You made me remember that I put a few screenshots of that scene as well. I have added them to my Screenshots thread before I put the S03EP11.
And now I go to manage the EP11.

 

T-Ai is the Teletraan computer's Artificial Intelligence that uses a avatar; kind of like EDI from Mass Effect, or Andromeda from the series of the same name. This makes her very distinct from a fembot like Arcee.

 

The best thing without a shadow of a doubt was Knockout. can take or leave pretty much the rest of it apart from maybe Arcee, it was good to have a fembot who's gimmick wasn't being a girl. But an interesting multilayered character struggling to grieve in a war situation who just happened to be female.

Couldn't stand the Japanese intro msic FWIW, just not my style and just made me miss Trasformers EVO so much more.

 

I have to disagree about Smokescreen. Sure, he was a cool guy who did cool stuff, but damn did it seem like Hasbro wanted to turn him into the next Hot Shot or hot rod
